GaySatanicHippie
why are all tracks except Ticon and Logic Bomb only 5 to 6 minutes? Is someone maybe trying to appeal to short attention span radio mainstream crowd. I only know three tracks of this CD, Ticon, Logic Bomb and one of those Zorba tracks, the first two are good, but Zorba sucks. Judging by the tracklength I havent missed anything by not knowing the other ones. Too bad Tip is getting into packaging consumer and Radio friendly 5 minute tracks. Guest Kindgok
djaje60 -- I think the 5-6 minute track time thing is just coincidence. Besides, getting a nice array of artists on a CD is a GOOD thing. If all tracks are 8+ minutes, you wind up with a CD of 8 or 9 artists as opposed to, say, 12 - 15. And incidentally, this is trance, so if you've heard the first 5 minutes of a Ticon track, it's easy to imagine what a 7 minute version would be like. // "Straylight Dub" is awesome, I might add. -- kingdok

Guest iNFiNiTi500
Obsessive hardcore psytrancers may seriously object such unashamed commercial profilation of TIPWORLD (the cover and album name suspects a major sell-out), but face it, TIPWORLD is probably the only label that can turn a crappy concept(Clubber Hommega, anyone?)into the compil of the year and get away with it, hence, even gain respect instead of losing credibility. M&G 2 is a relentless blitzkrieg on CLUBTRANCE and completely trashes the competition. Since Mr.Deathposture above did a good job of describing each single track, I just give my highlights of the album: Cyberbabas, Manmademan, Ticon, Bus and Moby..eh Prometheus. This may be CAMP or CULT, in essence it is a psychedelic groove fest of the highest imaginable quality: 9.1/10.
DeathPosture
V/A - Movers And Groovers 2   Artist: Various Title: Movers And Groovers 2 Label: TIP World Date: 2001  Track listing:  01. 06'06" Zorba Feat Chicago : Chicago Hype 02. 08'40" Logic Bomb : Dumbfound 03. 06'35" Cyberbabas : Indigo Blue 04. 06'45" Spacefly : Individual 05. 06'22" Manmademan : Arabian Daze 06. 10'37" Ticon : Input, Output, Kaput 07. 06'24" Prometheus : There Is A Time 08. 05'27" Tycho : Hallelujah 09. 06'13" Bus : Straylight Dub 10. 06'36" Zorba Feat Chicago : Voyage Of Ulysses  Review:  Here we have the follow-up for the very popular Movers & Groovers from last year. And let me start by saying that this is IMHO a very worthy follow-up. First up is Zorba with Chicago in a tracks that's kicks of slowly, but slowly develops into something a bit harder, but still with a "lazy feel" to it. Has a very nice squishy sound throughout the track that you either like or hate. I personally like it. Brilliant track. #2 is the mad Swedes from Logic Bomb who delivers one of their lighter and very melodic tracks here. Has lots of bird-like sounds in it. ;o). #3 by Cyberbabas are veterans Benji Vaughan and Raja Ram who delivers a simply BEAUTIFUL track. This is very melodic and very psychedelic at the same time. Killer. Up next is #4 Spacefly who are also veterans in psychedelic music [Olli Wisdom & Albert Moses]. This is a darker track with a heavier bass-line. Has a funny Monty Phyton/Life Of Brian quote in the middle: "You are all individuals.YES, WE'RE ALL INDIVIDUALS! .You are all different. YES, WE'RE ALL DIFFERENT!" :-). Classic quote. I can't believe no-one ever used that before.Very nice, dark pounding track here. #6 by ManMadeMan has a nice Arabian feel to it as implied in the title. An quite OK track, but the whole Arabian feel tends to get a bit boring towards the end of the track. Average track. Next up #6 is the well-know Ticon track. This is GOOD. Starts of minimal, but Frederik & Filip eventually throw in more and more amazing effects which forms a fantastic track. The only flaw this track has, is that's it's too long. They could have made it about 7 minutes. Anyway, this track ROCKS. We continue to #7 which again is a Benji Vaughan project. He offers a true gem here. This is definitely a slower track than Ticon, but still very good though perhaps a little boring towards the end. Up next is Tycho #8 with track that almost sound clubby at first. But don't worry, it's definitely not clubby, rather dubby without really being dubby. Do I make sense here? What I'm trying to say here is, that this track has a certain relaxed feel to it. Not my fav'e on this comp. but still quite OK. #9 Now things are REALLY slowing down with this Gus Till track which start out with dreamy sounds and female vocals (!!). But then all of a sudden there is a bass-line slowly developing from somewhere. A very relaxed one that continues for the rest of this VERY MELLOW track along side the female voice Cozzie having multiple orgasms.. :-) Very nice.*gg* . Finally there's Zorba & Chicago [Again!] #10 on the last track. If you thought that you were going to have a nice ambient track as the last one, then think again! This is a full-on stomper and delivers a VERY GOOD ending to this amazing compilation. Nice. All in all I can totally recommend this compilation and it is a VERY WORTHY follow-up. At times it reminds me of Order Odonata 5, so if you liked that you'll love this. That's it! Rating 8.9/10 Bom shankar!

Guest frayjay[at]hotmail[dot]com
I've had this since it was release, played it to death and love it! Its strength is in its variety. There are uplifing tracks (1,2,10) Groovy psychedelic (3,4,5) Ticons minimalistic roller (what a funky bassline!) Promethus' twisted house, a speed-garage psychedelic from tycho (this would be so good if garage did not exist, but as it does, the track is a little too cheesy for me!) An a lovely dub track from Bus. So again i repeat; its varied, covering a variety of styles. How does this compare to 'Vibration 3'? because i'm thinking of buying that. freak51
rafalk, just wanted to say that 'Beach House Trance' is an excellent description. This vibe, while not my usual cup of tea, has its place and time - Beach House, early evenings.
Guest x[at]x[dot]x
A very nice comp. The Cyberbabas track is the no1 feelgood track for a very long time...more of this in the late morning
Guest ashonacid[at]shpongle[dot]com
re: House Trance, Beach Trance, Goa Trance, The Dog from Married with Children Trance.... Why does everyone want to classify this music? The way I see it pigeonholing everything is just going to destroy our scene... Just try and accept all this wonderful music for what it is, and if you don't like it, SHUT THE FUCK UP!
Guest theorem
Awesome comp! Truly one that needed to be made... What else are you gonna be listening to whilst sitting on a beach, sipping a cocktail?
