Guest Deku81
Union Jack - There Will Be No Armageddon Artist: Union Jack Title: There Will Be No Armageddon Label: Platipus Date: 1995 Track listing: 01. 08'33" Red Herring 02. 09'40" Cactus 03. 09'06" Water Drums 04. 07'56" Two Full Moons And A Trout 05. 05'54" No Life Can Survive Here 06. 06'35" Fromage Frais 07. 07'10" Lollipop Man 08. 10'06" There Will Be No Armageddon 09. 07'45" Toucan 10. 01'08" Epilogue Review: This album is really good. Nice soft morning trance (I don't think we can call this Goatrance) from Platipus. This label's good as usual. Many nice tracks on this one from Union Jack. Claudio Giussani And Simon Berry really know what they're doing. Track 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are all very good and would probably be outstanding tracks on any compilation. The only track i dislike is 5. This kind of music is really nice when u're at home and just relaxing. Not a dancefloor filler but definitely worth buying ! Guest Infected Max
I think this Cd was the first "Electronic" Cd i bought. I heard it at a Trance show on radio And i loved it. This is not really Goa Trance but....i'm sure every trancer will like it!! This CD is as efficient as Shpongle to project yourself in a "Nature" dimension. Something really cool in this Cd are the noise from Nature...Ponds, Waterfall, Toucans, Jungle birds, insects...I wish there was more samples like that in Goa chill out tracks!! 10/
Guest U
Not goa trance indeed, but an excellent CD... Very nice for overall listening... 10/

Guest Goa Spirit
Unoin Jack and platipus records are the only commercial group and label respectively that i still have a little respect for (the rest have simply gone to the dogs - anyone heard danny rampling or paul oakenfold recently? they have simply become money minded dj's . totally commercial,, they even play tracks on the charts!!! horrible) this album is different though. great home listening.. nice soothing sounds send you off to places.. this guy is good but then again for how long? madpup
Superb..Not really psy trance, but not club music either, a sound unique to Platipus (mainly two other acts: Art of Trance and Terra Ferma). Big emphasis on nature sounds here, fantastically produced, this is very uplifting and totally euphoric album without any hint of cheese. Once of the best trance releases of all time. Guest not available
I saw Union Jack "live" in miami a couple years ago, they were really good, they did a few songs from the other projects they are involved in, Terra Ferma and Art Of Trance...all in all, they made the whole rave worth going. Pick up a copy of Terra Ferma's new c.d. "adventures of.." you'll love it!.
