Guest Deku81
Manmademan - The Switch / Carousel Artist: Manmademan Title: The Switch / Carousel Label: Surround Sounds Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. The Switch 02. Carousel Review: Very mediocre release in my opinion.. this guy's music has never appealed me very much.. I think his album (Love Technology) was pretty boring and these two songs sound just like the ones on the album.. I think it's kind of clubby stuff. This could be played by Paul Oakenfold or some guy like that.. No kreaks and mind-bending melodies.. just a lousy kickdrum and some boring sounds.. it's not even progressive shit, it's just .. pointless. No point in separating the tracks in this review cause they are just as bad.
Guest Seb Mullaert
The release is not bad in my opinion but I agree with deku ... a little bit boring and not something very special or developing. But all releases can't be that! Surround Sound is also the clubby side of TIP so if you don't like the more clubby stuff stay to TIP and go more full on! Take care/Seb
Guest DJ Supernova
i kinda like this. it's a very progressive release indeed. very hypnotic bassline with progressive chords on top. good for early in the evening sets. not essential, but definately not bad at all! 7/
