Guest Le Lotus Bleu Posted January 20, 2001 Posted January 20, 2001 V/A - Till Dawn - Progressive Trance Artist: Various Title: Till Dawn - Progressive Trance Label: Phonokol Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 07'36" Liquid Man And Mindfield : Little Big Man 02. 07'31" Luton Flower Tower : Japanese Eye 03. 08'54" Gus Till : Spunk 04. 08'27" Bus And Venum : Bugged (Bus Rmx) 05. 09'23" Killer Liquid : For The Bus Wedding 06. 09'50" Manmademan : Desire (Bumbling Loons Rmx) 07. 08'02" Killer Hertz : Super Glued 08. 08'46" Liquid Man And Yumade : Here Comes the Sun 09. 06'14" Number 9 : Illusions Review: Dj Mike Liquid have done this compilation and that's a "festival" of his productions coz tracks 1,5,8 and 9 have been composed by him alone or in collaboration. It seems that 8 tracks on 9 have been previously unreleased. In fact at any time , i've never heard something that could be worthwhile on this compilation except perhaps Japanese Eye from Luton Flower Tower anf i'm very kind. So, if you see this comp, pass your way, there MUST be something else much better. Quote
Anoebis Posted December 19, 2001 Posted December 19, 2001 It seems like Phonokol wants to go with the minimalistic-flow, but I'm afraid they missed the train... This cd sounds really boring and bad! Phonokol, go back to your roots, and you'll sell more for sure!! There are 2 mediocre tracks on the cd, number 2 & 6, everything else, nooo... So, 3/10!! Bom Shankar Quote
Guest Qwato Posted December 21, 2001 Posted December 21, 2001 I agree with Anoebis, Phonokol should go back to their roots, when MFG and Astral where big and creative, and when Xerox and Freeman just had released their Human Race album. Then Phonokol had class, today not... Quote
