Guest AtomicCow Posted September 1, 2001 Posted September 1, 2001 Bass is Base is a nice party tune. Makes you move. But no way would I call it a masterpiece. It's still pretty standard Yumade...just better than usual. Quote
Guest trezz_shakt[at]hotmail[dot]com Posted September 2, 2001 Posted September 2, 2001 Yumade - Torez Taal / Bass Is Base Artist: Yumade Title: Torez Taal / Bass Is Base Label: Spiral Trax Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 07'45" Torez Taal 02. 07'31" Bass Is Base Review: Pierre and Laurent have made a great EP. It is made in the typical style of yumade, strong bass, wierd sounds and great percussion work. The First track "Torez Taal" (8/10), starts off with a plain bassline with some twisted noises on top. The track developes with some harder tones and some effects witch remind me of a chainsaw. The Second track "Bass in Base" (10/10), is a pure masterpiece. It starts with a simple bassline ( reminds me of tromesa), and then the crazy sounds kick in. This developes all the time, with new tunes entering all the time - Pure Killer. I give this EP 9/10!!! Guest Stormbringer Posted September 3, 2001 Posted September 3, 2001 I don´t think I´ve listened to this ep even once since it was released. I had almost forgot about it :-) Wait... Aah... I found it! Oooh! I understand why I had forgotten about it! "Torez Taal" (6/10) is pretty ok but "Bass Is Base" (3/10) is not my cup of tea at all. The Yumade sound is not usually my cup of tea!!! If you like Yumade, don´t hesitate to get this. If you don´t! Save the dough for something better. I wish I had done that ;-) Quote
