This compilation is an all time classic! Back to 1996 the golden age of greektrance before the nitzonot disease. All tracks produced by greek artists except #7.Jaia & #10.Tyoussi. By far the best melodies I ever heard and strong bass; difficult to find it this days(2001) but if your ever find it(mp3s or whatever),get it! and prepare for some really psychedelic times and tottaly intelligent sounds! I give 12/10 I mean it!!! I have over 1000 mp3s on my pc with trance music and until now I never experience the feelings and the psychosound of this compilation!! FIND THOSE TRACKS WITH ANY WAY, what more can I say!?! !!!-=NOW YOU KNOW=-!!!

Guest Quetzalgoatl
Sorry guys but I don't think 'Paranoia' is a good track; no harmony, not psychedelic, no 'ambiance'; I've heard better nitzhonot. While I'm writing this I'm listening to Tyoussi's (Jaïa remix) track, apart from the nice voice it's not that special. Although...It's nice, uplifting, psychedelic, nice bassline, hard bass; overall it's good, but I've heard better. Now I start listening to 'Paranoia' again...It starts with an ugly sound followed by an ugly sample...Now it's about 2 minutes the same non psychedelic sound, with nice tweeking sounds at the background; the background seems much better than the foreplan. Now the background is building up...build up very long. Ugly sound again, ugly sample again...Bass kicks in, with a non psychedelic sound on the foreplan, nice background sounds.Although background sounds also remain the same...Too much silences in the track. No climax whatsoever... Ugly sample again...Outro of the track :now I'm in space , best part...ugly sound, ugly sample...end. Boring track, very very bad. Haven't heard the rest of the tracks. Trance2MoveU
Artist: Various Title: Trance Experience: A Journey Into Aural Geometry Label: Discobole Recordings Date: 1996 01. 07'15" Psychonauts : Olympus02. 09'04" Gene Joke : Storm03. 09'11" Millenium : Mind's Eye04. 06'55" Psycho Meditation : Cosmic Sunset05. 07'07" Elxis : Ultramundane Magma06. 09'04" Carpe Diem IV : Paranoia07. 06'09" Jaïa : Mohamour08. 07'08" 3TM : Trip09. 06'53" Psychonauts : Shadows Of The Moon10. 06'02" Tyoussi : Shofou Get a bunch of Greeks together and it's usually hairy chests, souvlaki, and a bunch of little boys walking funny. Ouch. That's uncalled for and more than a little untrue. Not every Greek likes souvlaki. Listening to this I feel like I'm at my town's "Greek Festival." And that term is in quotes for a reason. Seems there's no better way to drive the people that swear they are 1/8th Greek up to the surface than to advertise a Greek festival. All of a sudden everyone's a little Greek and admonishes you for not knowing that fact they never shared. Putting up Greek flags on the church, overcharging for Greek food served in aluminum tins and having a Dj sporting his fraternity shirt doth not a Greek Festival make. I think they just turned the banner over after the Polish festival was over. I wanna see some hairy chests, an alphabet that has more in common with geometric shapes, and some good ol fashioned lamb slaughterin from Uncle Nikos restaurant! You know the one (literally, the only one in town in which all 5 siblings work) And if you wanna trot a nude Mila Kunis out there I'm not gonna yell at ya. Sure I just threw some Greek stereotypes at you (all cultures have them good and bad...I'm Irish so technically I should already be drunk and ready to fight before breakfast is over) but in truth I only felt like I was at a Greek festival with the last 4 tracks. This album sounds rough and raw and I'm sure some will be drawn to that. It's lacking a bottom end as well as smooth layers and transitions. Compared to other compilations it falls short, but still worth a listen. Far from essential and most certainly not worth the extortion prices being asked on Discogs.
