The newborn was found lying in a portable chemo toilet. The police were unable to make any state- ments about the cause of death at this time. The body of the child - which according to unconfirmed sources seemed to be an early birth near the end of the pregnancy - was taken away for obduction and the state prosecutor was put on the case. The investigations are complicated, because the visitors of the festival came from all over Germany as well as from abroad. Promoter Jan Engel is from Hamburg. The police arrived in large numbers to "secure some leads", police speakers said. Also the attempt was made to follow the blood trail leading away from the toilet with sniffer dogs. Despite all the efforts, the police this evening was still at a loss about who the mother might have been. The "Shiva Moon" festival, thrown in Stoelln for the sixth time, is, according to Engel, one of the largest festivals of the "Goa-Trance" music style. It has its roots in the psychedelic music of the 70s as well as in the techno movement of the 90s. The closeness to drugs is a certainty among investigators. The event started Friday evening and carried on until yesterday night despite the findings. Quote
