mars
Unidentified Forms Of Sound 2 - Psychological Disorder Artist: Unidentified Forms Of Sound 2 Title: Psychological Disorder Label: BNE Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 08'09" Future Prophecy : Future Cop 02. 08'27" Psysex : Survival Kit 03. 07'52" Infected Mushroom : Anyone Else But Me 04. 08'11" Gorlation Corporation : Plastic Zeus 05. 07'09" BLT And Psycraft : Beat Manifesto 06. 07'20" Space Cat : Deep Rising 07. 07'28" Maskalin : Way Of Life 08. 06'18" Sinister Funk : Jungle Funk 09. 07'54" Oforia Feat D-Groovy : Paradise Of Silence Review: This compil is a bit less cheesy than its elder sister. track 1: It souns a bit like some dream music in some way. Not my cup of tea but not bad anyway. track 2: This PsySex track is rather mental...same remark as the Future prophecy... track 3: Now we get into very serious things. The IMs have built a true killer track. Sometimes you think you're in Heaven, sometimes you think you're into Hell !!! there are alternative calm and very psychedelic patterns. You can't help to dance! track 4: At the begining this is a very dark And rhythmic track. Then it becomes more regular and the melody starts. It's very uplifting. The sounds go through you ears and it's ok for your mind. track 5: a track filled with various sounds. you can recognize the style of the two groups, but the result could have been better.. ok it's not so bad, on the contrary ! track 6: Beware, he's back in the compils: Space Cat delivers us a very intelligent track, full of emotions. It's really well done and keeps you high all along. track 7: this is a good track, nothing to add track 8: a psychedelic-funk tune. It's amazing as it's very fast in the middle and remains funky! track 9: This is is cool And repetitive but not the best of Oforia. For your home-listening only i think. Overall this compil looks like some IsrAliens one. Globally it's worth it. 7/10.
Guest Vystril[at]aol[dot]com
welll... i just couldnt find its groove after a few listens, it seemed to simplistic to me, but mabye then i just have to listen to it louder... it just seemed a bit monotonous, but ill give it another try as it stands: 5/
Guest Mascok
wellp, really liked that openning track from future prophecy. following it is one of the best things goblin released since he did that 4 days of madness vinyl ep he released on krembo, keep up the good work!. the infected track has something goody in it, i think its that beat followed by those kick ass quality strings, but still same bo00ring infected style. following are the two best tracks here which are gorlation corporation - plastic zeus and BLT. And Psy craft - beat manifesto. both kick ass pumping tracks, dark and fat basslines, this is the kinda israeli trance i like!!. the space cat track is great too, really liked it too actully same with maskalin and sinister funk which brings us here a really great track as well. ending the cd is a preatty sucky track which i did not like at all, i dont know but, ofer, dont change your trance style to this . great cd afterall though i think it one of the bests israeli compilation released this year, 8.5/10. Guest AlexG
cool cd. future prophecy, psysex, gorlation corporation, sinister funk, oforia tracks kick ass! space cat is also ok, before it becomes cheesy. infected is boring, because it sounds like all the rest of their recent tracks. the rest is not so good. 6/
Guest fda-fda[at]implantmagazine.fsnet
What can i say, words fail me(well almost). Chapter 2 of Unidentified Forms Of Sound has just blown me away and has certainly left me with a "Psychological Disorder". I know, i've already got one. Well this has just added a new dimension to it! Compiled by HOMmega's weird Eyal Yankovich for BNE, our man has done them proud and put a huge smile on my face that got bigger and better as each track unfurled itself from the speakers. This is what life's all about my psychedelic friends. I almost exploded in delight as Future Prophecy, Psysex, Infected Mushroom, Gorlation Corporation, BLT And Psycraft, Space Cat, Maskalin, Sinister Funk and Oforia Feat D-groovy did their best to unhinge me. I'm not sure if the neighbors enjoyed them, but who gives a fuck? Good music is meant to be played loud and so loud it was early one friday evening, after a grey misrable day this certainly brightened things up. The men in white coats are on my trail, but still i elude capture. The straight-jacket will have to wait till another day. A day that remains a long way away, for i still have my "Psychological Disorder" under control. Or have i ?

Guest Andy ( Dream Creation )
"Psychological Disorder" arrived for a wild night in along with 2 good friends suffering a similar prognosis. 9 tracks of mixed beats and varied resonance straight from the pump house of Israeli trance, reminding me again of the large role this small nation plays in our global culture. From technotronic funky breakbeat, deep residual rolling rythms and spiritually uplifting interludes, this collection was for me THE BUSINESS. Not a track to skip! (3)Infected Mushroom's "Anyone else but me" and (7)Maskalin's "Way Of Life" worth a good deal more than 1 spin. An interesting, original and "having it" mix, whose highlights have no doubt already vibrated the drums in your ears. You wont be disappointed(guaranteed)! Guest Quetzalgoatl
I only heard Infected Mushroom, and that's a very strange, original and different style (as we are used to from IM).Nice bassline!

seraph
Interesting compilation but has nothing to do with psychological disorders....The name is too dark for this variety of ideas....Some songs do work on compilation and some don't like INFECTED MUSHROOM one....It is simply don't go on this compilation...Same with SPACE CAT one which is great song but just don't fit the concept....FUTURE COP is really good, mellow harsh track...SURVIVAL KIT is twisted and very good...PLASTIC ZEUS is very dark nad apsolutely crazy...All in all very good compilation.... 8/
