Anoebis
Ololiuqui - Valves Artist: Ololiuqui Title: Valves Label: Spirit Zone Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 06'57" DJara 02. 06'30" Static 03. 06'01" Valves 04. 06'11" Pantograph 05. 05'39" Del Rio 06. 07'34" Correlate 07. 06'40" Activate Chi 08. 05'24" Supply 09. 06'36" Backline Review: Not a good CD at all!!! This CD sounds OLD!! I can't belive it's made in 1999!! When you hear this you think you're back in the early Goa-days (1994-1995)!! I think the melodies are rather simple and boring... Luckely there's one good song on this one, and that's nr 3; Valves!! A friend of me thinks this CD is very good, so maybe it's just not my cup of thea, but if you wanne buy this one, first listen to it in your shop!!! Guest a_ozi
Besides activate chi with its corny sampling, and a few sections in a couple of trax which somewhat grate, I really liked this release. Thumping kicks, punchy sounds and a certain morning brightness make this a pretty good catch. Im happy.
Guest je-man[at]ljusdal[dot]se
I used to think "Valves" was a very lame CD, but then one day I listened to it when the sun was shineing outside, and I totally understood it! Very nice morning sounds, that's for sure. Give it another chance, this time during day time!
Guest mikrozomme[at]bgvirtual[dot]zzn[
Hey,men. Why don't you put the things correctly? It's a mellow album, isn't it?There is nothing disturbing in that good CD.It's true that it's not very progressive but the album is worth buying.I love so much these tracks:"Pantograph","Activate Chi" and the beautiful "Backline".7,5/
Guest [Anonymous]
very nice music. Made me want to make a song too...(just kidding...)
Guest voxel[at]zort[dot]org
Not a classic but just great and simple music. These guys have nice old-fashioned style which is great in morning hours. 8/
Guest hawaii[at]planet.net[dot]au
If you like Madonna and Spice Girls you might like this -i find it to be shitola...but then again a lot of people like this kind of sugary-watered-down crap. 1/
Guest smokeBuddha
Just cause something sounds like it was made 5 years ago doesn't mean it's not worthwhile. Given that this is not an astonishing cd, it is still pretty good (with the exception of Static, which sucks ass). 7/
Guest [Anonymous]
Good, nice, quite funky, sometimes pushing and drifting. Good at indoor and perfect at outdoor party ) 7/
Guest [Anonymous]
this album is simple, creative, and has a good journey to it. track 5 is a weak spot, the rest is ingenious 9/
Guest Simon Magus
Good music need not be dark or hard.. this album proves it. Not amazing but some beautiful morning tracks...
Guest Que
"Correlate" is, in my opinion, one of the best morning tracks ever made. It's so beautiful! Peace.
Guest rx7style
There's room within the psytrance genre for different styles, and this is more of a peaceful relaxation trip than anything else. Great "morning" tracks put your mind at ease... if you want hard, fast, dark, 3D, noise-flooded music, look elsewhere. This albums is great as it does exactly what it's supposed to - creates a psychedelic atmosphere through beautifully mellow and seemlessly integrated, well layered sounds. Enjoy! 7.5/
Guest [Anonymous]
I don't think is genious but I really like the atmosphere they create... 7.5/10 BTW - Ololiuqui - Landscape in del Rio (Unreleased) ... get that track
Guest [Anonymous]
Pantograph kicks ass! Pretty damned original and innovative if you ask me. I'm impressed by this album, but I don't know why everyone else is UN-impressed. Great listen...
Guest phlegetonyarre[at]hotmail[dot]co
This is crap!! Only T3 is worth listening to. 3.5/
Guest lauri
tracks of use : ...Valves, Pantograph, Correlate. ...Activate chi would be nice without the woman babbling... that brings a kiksu element to it which cannot be tolerated. Pity really. otherwise totally swalloable when integrated into a morning set

Guest earthborn44[at]hotmail[dot]com
Correlate is a very very nice progressive trance for the morning, beatifull melody at the end, kind of human blue.

Manuser
Pleasant album, more on the progressive side of trance (not really psychedelic). Not an essential but good enough if you like chill trance on a sunny day. "Correlate" is particularly good. 7/10.
