GaySatanicHippie
V/A - Vibration 2 Artist: Various Title: Vibration 2 Label: Medium Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 06'42" Tarsis : Sacral Excursion 02. 07'52" Human Blue : Sandal Woods 03. 10'07" Bitmonx : Pipemode 04. 09'37" Amorphous : Return Of Shalam (Atmos Mix) 05. 07'45" S-Range : Illegal Software 06. 08'15" Prex : Access Code 07. 09'30" Human Blue : Electric Harmony 08. 10'01" Noma : Soon Review: There are so many great tracks on this compilation, ranging from hard Scando attacks (Prex) to soft fluffy morning beauty (Noma). These two tracks are also the best two on this comp., because Prex "Access Code" is an aggressive minimal monster that will drive its dark synths right into your brain and Noma"s "Soon" is a beautiful ten minute journey with a little melody that makes your spine tingle. Human Blue's Electric Harmoy is also very beautiful, even though some might say its cheesy. Tracks 2,3,4and are amazing, too, the only one i dont really like is track 1, something doesnt sound right about it. Mediums Compilations are in my opinion the best compilations of previously unreleased music that are coming out these days. There is always a good mix of tracks and all tracks are usually of really high quality. Members of this site dont seem to notice Medium very much, but I think they really should, because this is high quality stuff.8.5/
Guest brian[at]goashoppen[dot]com
One of my favorite medium cd's. Great morning tunes with lots of emotion. Rating 8/
Guest ZARAKNON
Before I bought this I thought minimalistic/progressive trance was mainly boring stuff, but this CD changed my opinion on it completely. It's for sure one of the better progressive comps, all the tracks are somehow excellent and sound almost as rich and full-on as older psy trance, at least my favourites (2,3,6&7). Human Blue delivers 2 beautiful & relaxing morning tunes, also Noma, even if Soon is a little repetitive. The comp is also worth an entire listening because it's simply well done from start to finish. If you haven't heard much of the modern progressive style, this is a good CD to start it. So I give it a recommending 9/10.
Guest DJ Supernova
yes, as the reviews above say, it's the bomb. it's one of the best progressive comps i've heard. each track stands on it's own. i really like tarsis, both human blue tracks, noma, and bimonx. this may be the best medium comp i've heard, and i have most of them. if progressive is your style, this is essential, but i think this is good for everyone. 8/10 a very solid comp. seraph
Good compialtion but not spectacular...It is rather progressive with some light moments...Some songs don't fit he concept of this Vibration but the ones that are worth are : SANDAL WOOD, RETURN OF SHALAM, ACCESS CODE, ELECTRIC HARMONY, SOON...7.5/
