Guest chris.e[at]home[dot]se
V/A - Vibration 4 Artist: Various Title: Vibration 4 Label: Medium Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 09'01" Native Radio : Neuromanger 02. 09'51" DJ Exanimo : Moonwalk 03. 07'52" Institut Fur Bassforschung : Der Grosse Kumpo 04. 07'33" Morganixx : Egal 05. 08'54" Prisoners Of The Sun : Bombenschacht 06. 08'56" Visual Paradox : Mach 13 07. 09'34" Adrenochrome : Shai Varene 08. 08'45" M-Sphere : The Valley Review: I have been listening to this CD for a couple of days now and I can only say that its getting better and better. It has a lot of atmosphere right through, based upon an hard core with beats. I guess if you like Mahasukas DJ sets (who doesnt? ) and progressive, atmospheric trance this is something for you. I love all the tracks, they are all similar, but different. Not one of the tracks sounds the same but you still recognize the atmosphere all the way through the record. There´s only one track tha I don´t like, and that is the 7:th, it feels like it doesnt fit in. Conclusion. I think this is one the best compilations of the year in the progressive/psychedelic genre. If you like atmos, vibrasphere, planet ben or similar artists then get this one. The production and mastering are also very clean and professional. I give this 8+ out of
Guest MG
Not as good as number 3 but good nonetheless. I reckon I am one of the first in Oz to have it!!! I love this series, I only wish there was some human blue & some noma but I guess that would be repetitive wouldn't it? I can't give this a mark yet as i've only listened to it while I've been mixing and not as a compilation on it's own
Guest Syre
In two words: Awesome compilation. Highligts are: Native Radio - Neuromancer is one of their best tracks, and that says a lot. Der Grosse Kumpo delivers a extraordinary good pumping track which has been unreleased for ages. Morganixx "Egal" is a killer too and Adrenochrome keeps the its good name intact. Minimal psy trance at its best.
danvapid
Well, I was surprised to find this in a store, so I picked it up right away, and have no regrets. It is a Vibration after all, and is no let down from where 2 and 3 left off. Excellent progressive tracks throughout, and a fair share of new artists. Best tracks come from Morgannix, P.O.T.S., Exanimo, and Native Radio. The rest are still superb...except for the Adrenochrome track, which is still good, but doesn't fit in somehow, as the first reviewer said. Also need to point out that the Morganixx track, is extra extra good...do they have any relation to magnetrixx? what's with all groups that have x's in their names?...not that im against it Overall, 8.5/

Guest Acidhive
Great release here!! After the superb Vibration 3 I thought Medium couldn't top this (and Stereoide didn't, though it was pretty good also) but this... man, this is pure progressive heaven!! From track 1 up to track 8 this is stunning ...!! Especially the first 3 tracks are soooo superb, with a special mention for DJ Exanimo... bring it home dude!! Wow, that bassline, the percussions, everything perfectly in check and suddenly that lovely string on top... WOW!!! 9/10 for the comp here... And if anyone has a little taste for their psytrance, they'll buy this!! Keep up the good work Medium!
freak51
Pretty standard progressive psy-trance; get it if you need some. The last track is very flamante morning-trance, just like 1996 again. Not my cup of tea, but those who are into it, you know who you are.
Setsuko
... this release is so great ... one of my favourite progressive cd's in my collection . the tracks are made with the heart imo , i mean ... every tracks has this kind of emotions , very smooth synthlines on extremely warm and beautiful groovy bass-structures . Oh yeah , before i mention my favourites i must admit that the quality is fabulous ... great work BIM . inside the cd you can read 'COPY KILLS YOUR MUSIC' in huge letters , some of you might think it's undue but you must confess this is the truth. ... so to all the mp3 collectors , you miss half of the 'vibrations' while listening to any ridiculous bitrate . highlights on the cd are : 1,2,3,5 and 7 .... get this !!! psychedelic rating 9,5/10 ...? Guest kadafi
copy kills your music: this couldn't be more true! the wave is overall very touchy in the progressive meaning of the word of course: subtle and easy for the mind and has much more feeling and beauty then Stereoide. This compilation makes me feel like i'm in paradise grooving at the smoothest moments before and while sunrise... Hoorrray for dj Bim!! The first two are just perfect!! Gentle percussion nice lyrics on pure soundwaves from Native Radio, followed by Exanimo with a more bouncy, happy tune.....so 10/10 for these two and a 9,5 for that warm and tribal Morganixx ...no bad ones here... 89%
