Guest Deku81 Posted March 11, 2000 Posted March 11, 2000 X-Dream - We Created Our Own Happiness Artist: X-Dream Title: We Created Our Own Happiness Label: Tunnel Date: 1997 Track listing: 01. 09'04" Screw 02. 07'45" Do You Believe 03. 08'23" The Second Room 04. 09'09" Zebra 05. 07'16" Relaxed Vortex 06. 08'06" Our Own Happiness 07. 11'07" Eleven 08. 07'39" Aurorix Review: it's x-dream and it's good. you can trust theses guys.. they released three albums and all three have been excellent. these guys are magicians behind their equipment. this album may not be just as good as 'radio' or 'trip to trancesylvania' but that doesn't say much because those two albums are just perfect. this comes really close to perfection too .. i can't praise these guys enough.. they're just TOO good!! noone can even come close to the sounds they create. just listen to 'eleven' and decide for yourself who are gods my choice is already made and the name is x-dream.... freak51 Posted March 19, 2000 Posted March 19, 2000 The bomb. No psy-trance stable is complete without this horse. When you don't really know what you want to play, put this record on and you'll wonder why you bothered with anything else. Quote

Guest X - Dreamer in NYC Posted April 12, 2000 Posted April 12, 2000 This album is definitely a must have for any collection. If you are an x-dream fan then you are required to own this album. I just don't know how they do it. 10/10 Quote
Guest Ubik Posted April 13, 2000 Posted April 13, 2000 Perhaps the best X-Dream album. There is the same feeling than in "Trip to Trancesylvania". Very very enjoyable. Best tracks are 2,6,7, other tracks are also good. 8/10 Quote
Children Posted August 13, 2000 Posted August 13, 2000 GOOD album ! Best Tracks here are Tracks 3&7, Track 5 is not that good but not too Bad (just too monotonous for me) ... I think this CD is the best one from X-Dream ! Rating : 7.5/10 Quote
Guest pauls[at]myskins[dot]com Posted September 30, 2000 Posted September 30, 2000 I love this CD! X-Dream is classic. Quote
Guest Ehsanur Posted October 11, 2000 Posted October 11, 2000 "Our own happiness" is soooo delicious. Makes me wanna mmmmmmmmmm. Eshanti Brahman (for the album:8/10) Quote
Guest dogx[at]yahoo[dot]com Posted October 13, 2000 Posted October 13, 2000 Great fckin sound!!! This must be the best psy album out there, I only wonder why havent this guys released anything after Radio, which was about 3 years ago! X-Dream is the Beethoven of our days! Quote
Guest Ubik Posted December 23, 2000 Posted December 23, 2000 Finally not their best album, because of Radio, but still very very good. I've listened our own happiness (the track) lots of times but can't get enough of it 9/10 now. Quote
Guest jaydub[at]jihad[dot]to Posted February 24, 2001 Posted February 24, 2001 Track 7 (Eleven) is an epic track that brings together all that is good and distinctive in x-dream's sound. Radio still makes me shiver but Our Own Happiness is really really starting to grow on me. amazing live band to see if you get the chance. Quote
Guest Carahana Posted March 22, 2001 Posted March 22, 2001 Amazing disc..!! surely a classic, x-dream have always been ahead of their time. i'm going to put it in my stereo right now:) Quote
DeathPosture Posted April 5, 2001 Posted April 5, 2001 Amazing disc... I NEVER get tired of this and IMO this will never be dated. This is up there along with "Twisted" and "Feeling Weird"... The only X-Dream release that tops this is Radio with is a PERFECT album, but this is close... Eleven is my personal highlight!... This is a CLASSIC piece of goa-history, and EVERYONE should have this... When I've had enough of minimalism I put this on and let my mind flow... Brilliant! 8.9/10! Bom shankar! Quote
Guest misfit[at]godisdead[dot]com Posted July 9, 2001 Posted July 9, 2001 Just got into this trance shit, (used to only like punk ). Do you believe is the best song I've heard so far. Another song I like is Roland Klinkenberg-inner laugh. What genres/subgeneres do these songs fall into? I love this shit. Quote
Guest jan[at]holdet[dot]dk Posted August 6, 2001 Posted August 6, 2001 I have only heared the "We created our own happiness" album! I can really recommend this album - it's sounds too good to be true! Greetings from Denmark! Quote
Jon Cocco Posted August 21, 2001 Posted August 21, 2001 I bought this album for over $25 and by God its worth it! This album is much better then Trip to trance...! It is deff. more mature, alot more powerful, and very, very melodic! I like melody, but this isn't happy, cheesy, lets go fucking hug each other bullshit. Where as their first album was very soft and happy and at times boring, or rather repetitive, this album is very melodic, deep driving, beautiful flowing, and full of awesome rhythm. (Yes I know their first album was melodic, but this is better) The only track I'm not impressed with is Related Vortex, but I wouldn't say it's bad. The way this album begins is very intelligent. I mean, many albums will jump right into the beat and not evolve enough, hence sounding minimal. This stuff is the complete opposite. The beginning of track 1 so gradually builds, constructing layers without jumping straight to the drums. It doesn't stay in one spot, nor does it change just to avoid repitition. It builds. It evolvs. Some tracks such as, Our Own Happiness, and Eleven are truly masterpieces! Our Own Happiness is so deep and uplifting. I'd even say crazy in some unique way. The voices are very unexpected, the melody unpredictable, the flow beautiful. Some of these tracks are like a great story unfolding. When the sun goes down, put on really good head phones, and let this take you to places only imagined. Better than that, let it create places that were at one time unimagined. The first three tracks are great, if not excellent, and fucken aye, I won't bother talking about the other ones. This deserves to be owned regardless. To sum it up in two words, this rocks! Quote
Guest Arthur Posted September 14, 2001 Posted September 14, 2001 Classic stuff 10/10 for its time Quote
Guest x-dream[at]heaven[dot]org Posted October 21, 2001 Posted October 21, 2001 one of the best album ever 10/10 Quote
Guest the dank man Posted November 29, 2001 Posted November 29, 2001 Amazing; just amazing. A classic for its time (1997). Good job, x-dream; good job Tunnel. 10/10. Totally agree (again) with Freak51 above. Quote
Guest The dank man Posted November 29, 2001 Posted November 29, 2001 I cannot believe their latter 1997 album Trip to Trancesylvania is so different from this 1997 album AND the 1998 album Radio Quote
khogg Posted December 11, 2001 Posted December 11, 2001 Awesome. This truely is one of the best. Get it. Quote
Guest spacemonkey - 604 Posted February 12, 2002 Posted February 12, 2002 this is the kind of music that makes me smile so wide that me ears become part of my mouth :-))) It's uplifting perfect sounding trance that takes me away to happy places and reminds of the sound that made me liten to goa in at first, a must have for all goa lovers Quote
Guest stmwho[at]mail[dot]com Posted March 3, 2002 Posted March 3, 2002 T.R.I.P.P.Y. This is thier best album. Forget radio, it's crap, but unfortunly if you read 'x-dream' they almost always refer to 'radio'. 8/10 Quote
