I'm not really sure this is real goa, but it sounds similar to Son Kite and other minimalistic groups. (der dritte raum is one of the groups who started the minimal sound) If you have ever heard Trommelmaschine on tantrance 3 for instance, then you will know what this sounds like. The album is put together quite nicely, all the tracks are mixed into each other, so it seems like it never stops! Highlights here are the two ambient tracks (track 1 and 12) and also Trommelmaschine and Slapstick. This album is never full on trance, most of the time it's even quite peaceful. After this album, der dritte raum changed of style somewhat, becoming a little more melodic. I give this 7/10. I remember when Son Kite first came out, everybody said that sounds like Der Dritte Raum. Der dritte Raum has been around since 1993 i think and has always made very technoish and minimal trance, not really goa at all, but still lots of people into goa liked and still do. Wellenbad is at least for or five years old and it still sounds young, especially Trommelmaschine, which ( i think) influenced a lot of the new progressive producers, like Son Kite for example. It is segued extremely well and every track is very well arranged. It belongs in any electronic dance music lovers library. Definitely not Psytrance/Goa. I don't understand the reason because the three albums are included in this GOA/PSY TRANCE page (oh my good WHY?!). It is mellow and smooth album with unique style and structure only Krueger can make.
