Guest Ubik
Sandman - Witchcraft Artist: Sandman Title: Witchcraft Label: Matsuri Date: 1998 Track listing: 01. 09'04" Perfect Stranger 02. 07'02" Flight Or Fight 03. 10'17" Turttle Bitch 04. 07'56" Ghostrider (Time Tunnel Rmx) 05. 09'34" Shockwave 06. 07'19" Nostradamus (The Prophecy Rmx) 07. 07'16" Bad News (New Way) 08. 10'05" Mushroom Symphony Review: It's a strange album, that differs a lot from typical israeli trance. Really dark melodies, some will call it wicked. Personally, I like it a lot, but listen to it before buying ! There is the same atmosphere in the whole album, that reminds a little from Infected Mushroom's The Gathering. The first track is prettly slow, but puts you in the mood for what's next. My favorites are Shockwave, Ghostrider, Nostradamus and Flight or Fight.

Guest ChrisdeeACiD
Very Very VERY wicked stuff on this one.. but I just LOOOVE IT!!!! soooo great scary stuff with sooo many crazy sounds and samples. Nothing gets repetitive ... All the voice samples are from "Star Treck". I´m really looking forward to some new productions by this genius. Personal favorites: Flight or Fight, Turtle Beach, Ghostrider and and the dark heavy "Shockwave" of course! 8.5/
Guest Kvin2000
This one must be the one of the most evil sounding albums I own (except maybe that wicked album by Xenomorph - Cassandra's nightmare - Another 'must have' for those who like the darker side of trance). Anyway, This is one of my favorites and most listened to albums. Great sound which is both evil and psychedelic, A lot of innovation and GREAT intros. Some of the sanpling work seems out of place though. My personal favorites: Perfect Stranger, Flight or fight, Nostradamus and the BEST - Shockwave. His new album is supposed to come out very soon. Guest Psychotoons
hey there this is sandman :baaaaaaaa. i disagree with some of your opinions regrding the evil work around (witchcraft do ya realy think it has such an evil feeling to it ?maybe scary (like b movies shit) but i think i've tryed to do a more electroniq sound rather the generic goa sound "that time" "evil" is a bad word is'nt it ? cheeze maybe feets here .. ,SANDMAN-psychotoons album releases next week :)check out the cover(i'm sory but i like it HE hehe)what u think? http://go.to/sandman-project
Guest Tequila
This album is completely different from the classical israeli trance. But the sounds are dark and the melodies rich.A nice album so.The best track is of course Shockwave. Guest jonatanh[at]hotmail[dot]com
I agree. Sandman is king when it comes to making atmospheric songs. I can REALLY get into the music and just listen. Maybe nothing for the "dancefloor" though. I think his best tracks are Starfinder (found on TIP Singles I think) and Natural Born Killer (found on Tan Trance 4 I think) which is not included on this album. Guest jsbedard
Random stuff. Itzik Levy is the worst israeli artist ever. Tick cheesy random stuff. Hate it, too strange and random for my tastes...If your looking for good israeli artist, just look for domestic, dark soho or infected mushroom, there're really killers! Guest slinker
Always manages to captivate my brain whenever i listen to it,its dark in places but i wouldnt call it moody! Certainly lifts me into another place...The Sandman is a very original act and maybe uses some annoying samples, but then these dont spoil tunes and from the whole album i couldnt really say i was dissapointed by one track! Thanks Izik..come play live in the UK, we are waiting for ya 8/

Guest smokeBuddha
It took me forever to find this album. But when I finally did, I realized how well worth it the wait was. Best thing about it is the variety used in making the tracks. You can easily tell what song is what. This is a great album, and I highly recommend to any lover of warped psytrance. 8/

Basilisk
It really grows on you... industrial psychedelic sounds with a lot of originality. There is a reason it was re-issued years later.

Guest rx7style
Holy shit! This album is absolutely amazing! Smoke some honey and listen to this! Dark melodies that penetrate right down to your soul, crazy sounds the thrill your senses, and even the insanity you were looking for! Very neat album. You really have to listen to ir a few times before it starts growing on you, but once you understand the richness of this album, you'll keep pulling it from your library every day! Enjoy. 9/

Jon Cocco
This is one of the darker, more obscure, underrated, and imaginative Goa albums. The album has character and personality. It's unpredictable and innovative. It takes risks and is unconventional and visionary. The album's like one big dark experimental, often intriguing and almost ALWAYS engaging. I like the unpredictable beat, bass line, etc. Great use of accents too! Such alien-esque landscapes, both foreign and fresh. Witchcraft is easily the artist's best work.
