mind.breeder
I know that there are many dnb artists with psy flavour in some of their tracks (Future Engineers, Future Prophecies, Black Sun Empire, Chris Su, Teebee etc.), but I haven't yet found dnb that is really psychedelic - using soundscapes and sonic manipulations to blow the head off and so on... Something like Day to Night/Day to Fright or Babelfish. I think there is huge potential even in such high bpm music to be colourful and interesting also outside the dancefloor. Time for some hallucinogen of dnb Is there any shpongled dnb I don't know about? - I checked Blunt Instruments, Acces denied, some Eat Static... but that's lighter stuff

Trolsk
It's quite hard to find psychedelic drum 'n' bass, but if you can settel with psychedelic breaks there are some good release out there. If you're prepeared too dig deep and do not want to leave the psytrance boarders I would recommend some old releases: Digitalis - The Third State V/A - All Boundaries Are Illusions - 21-3 Records V/A - Elastic - 21-3 Records V/A - Freekstyle - Blue Room Released If you're serious about "sonic manipulations to blow the head off" I would recommend you to look beyond the limiting psy-trance boarders and get yourself some really dark and twisted breaks and breakcore: Subphonic - Vega Beach Party Venetian Snares - Rossz Csillag Alatt Született Venetian Snares - Meathole Xanopticon - Liminal Space I would also recommend you to visit my topic about JNR Hacksaw and download the Bushby mix in that same topic. Guest Cosmogenesis
Fourier Wave Device have produced excellent psychedelic drum'n' bass. Look at their site, there are a few tracks that you can listen for free.
Guest Astro Cortex
One drum'n'bass album I really enjoyed lately is Pete Namlook & Peter Prochir - Miles Apart. It's not in the typical Namlook ambient style but some sort of industrial influenced DnB. Very interesting and sort of intelligent. It doesn't sound anything like psytrance, but it sure does have its psychedelic qualities.

Basilisk
Subphonic - Vega Beach Party 495397 What is it with this album? I bought it on vinyl from a local shop when someone pointed out it had a psychedelic thing going for it... always enjoyed it, seldom listen to it though. Back then they called this "nu-skool breaks" at the shop though. I wonder if that term is still used for anything.

I like Spiral from Pendulum But most psytmospheric dnb I have must be Future Engineers, they don't have album yet, only vinyls, most of their tracks are great, deep, listening stuff. BTW that bear of yours is super

KozmikTentacles
Added to collection 495618 then we are two also, some standard tips that I gave in the other d&b thread. things on Good Lookin Records are worth to check out for psy d&b. especially these ones: Seba - Producer 06 Big Bud - Producer 07 Blu Mar Ten - Producer 03 LTJ Bukem - Producer 01 Nookie - In At The Deep End PFM - Producer 02 they don't have the obvious trance influences that ZubZub got though. but still I think they could labled as psy d&b. I think these could mentioned too, but I havn't really absorbed those albums yet: Deviant Electronics - Blunt Instruments Flytronix - which album to start with?!?! Total Eclipse - Access Denied Pacific Heights - Borne Together I havn't listened much at all to drum & bass lately so I don't have more to come with right now. mind.breeder
There is also a guy called B-Complex who makes really nice melodic and imaginative dnb but I doubt he is very well known.
