Ov3rdos3 Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Has anyone heard this CD yet? Is it worth getting? I am quite a sucker for some decent rip-your-spleen-out dark psy. I Have also been impressed with the other Temple Twister releases. http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/tem/tem1cd003.html Any comments from anyone who's heard this? Quote

snowball Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 if you dont like it you may give a shot at this one, maybe this one will do! V/A - Lethal Doses Quote
Lepton Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 just got it in the mail today I'm not impressed it's no different that there previous releases ... keep in mind that this is my first impression based on pc speakers listening while I'm working .... Quote
Lepton Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 I would go for the new Mubali insted. 495582 idd, I also got it in the mail today and it sounded way interessting than the claw cd's Quote
Basilisk Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 I didn't bother previewing - I'm quite sure I'll like this, given that Claw/Paranoize tracks are usually the highlight of any darkpsy release. More of the same? Sure, bring it on! Quote
dmtree Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 very dark and aggressive stuff, pretty well made.. but not all that interesting, imo. Cosmo new album is much better, imo. Quote

Maxx Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 hehe...that cosmo album is some mind bending stuff for sure. Quote
Daze Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Just ordered it... I have to say I think the samples on Wirikuta sound promising - at least some tracks seem very atmospheric! Quote
Drosophila Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 if you dont like it you may give a shot at this one, maybe this one will do! V/A - Lethal Doses 495573 This one even better: Lyserg Lesson 1 IMHO I like lethal doses too though! Quote
Drosophila Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 OR this one Highcosmos - 4Real, just listened to it now I think I'm gonna order it, two crispy releases from this label for sure (NOISE POISON RECORDS)! Quote
FrO Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 like said above its good production and well made , but nothing special imho that goes for highcosmos and cosmo aswell... i would go for mubali if you have to choose... Quote
Riton Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 I totally agree, the Mubali and Cosmo albums outclass this by a lot... Quote
Daze Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Having my first listen now and I have to admit I am impressed so far! Melodic, atmospheric but yet it stays very dark... I like Quote
Basilisk Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I like the tracks... this is basically Voices of Madness part II, three years later by completely different artists. One major downside - this is some of THE worst cover art and packaging I've ever seen. Low-rez graphics, weeeeird cardstock/paper (what is that, plastic?) with bubbles from where the cheap machines didn't print right... well, could go on, but whatever. I like the tunes! Quote
