radi6404 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 There is some similarity in the melodies, yes. But aktually I do not think that they are too similar, I would not have detected a similarity in those tracks if you would not have told me, because the sounds being used are different and the atmosphere is different. While the Hunab Ku track sounds very fresh, the Dimension 5 track has that floating sound like some Shakta tracks are most of the newschool tracks. The Huab Ku does not have that floating style at all. I have a hard time believing that Hunab Ku is the same group as Dimension 5, to me Hunab Ku sounds much better and has more o the Astral style IMO. Quote
radi6404 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 so tell me, is Hunab Ku really Dimension 5? How can such a lovely sounding group be Dimension 5 aswell? Dimension 5 is usually simple and repetative, Hunab Ku is fresh and interesting. Quote
Goa-Head Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Hunab Ku = Nick Wenham & Charlie Clarke Dimension 5 were mainly Charlie Clarke, Kerry Palmer and Nick Wenham , and joined by Christer Borge-Lunde later. Do you see the common factor? Quote
