i wonder if anyone could organise a huge event like(solaluna, full moon, south africa, voov etc) but with an extra scene.

there would be

1.fresh psy(full-on scene->i am vomitting right now  ) in order to have lots of people caming and get the appropriate income)

2.ambient (if there is enough budget->it can be skipped)

and

3.goa trance scene. the organisers could summon many of the goa masters e.g etnica,transwave,mfg,astral,x-dream,hallucinogen,chi-ad...and ask them to play goa.if they can't afford the money then they can ask them to dj set in the goa scene which happens in every big festival (that is every artist has a live and a dj set)->of course i would prefer if the dj set was in the psy scene and the live in the goa scene but i guess this is not quite probable)

why isn't this happening?

are there no persons as far as organisation is concerned that are interested or the artists don't want to play this kind of music(which i doubt->money talks)?

discuss...

you have to remember that most of the goa artists you stated dont produce goa anymore....and as the new artists dont produce goa either, the only thing left is the old songs....

if there is going to be a goa party,i think its going to have to be made of djs(known and unknown) that will spin old goa trance tracks.....

:(

so what?in the last live of astral before 2 years they played many classics...

still producing this kindof music has nothing to do with it...

i guess what matters is the settlement of the organisers and the artists onwhat music will be played.

nowadays no organiser asks for goa so it is in the judjement of the project if they play or not(they are not playing mostly)

but if they demand for goa they will play...?

the problem is not that goa has lost its touch, its that the new generation of "trancers" is bombarded by full-on in clubs(i have to admit, quality full-on in a club rocks) and as old school is old ;) ,they dont tend to listen often too it,and even if they do after months or years of dancing and rolling on full-on music they dont appreciate it...

its like going to a club that allways plays metal and hearing jazz instead.most clubbers will leave, some will stay,a few will cream their pants from happiness... :)
