Welcome to the forum, hope you'll find some interesting music.
faze
all i know is people like sasha , digweed , chris fortier 506162 Hey, I was into that stuff before finding this place too. Digweed, Fortier, Jimmy Van M, Holden, Jon Lisle, Zabiela, GU, etc. I am on a break from that stuff now. I can't get enough of the psy-prog, and psy ambient stuff at the moment. Who knows if I will ever go back... f

There is the so called prog-psy, which is a bit more like psytrance, and there is the genre which some people call cross-over progtrance, which is sometimes very influenced by progressive house and all... also note that when people talk about progressive trance in the ´psy´ scene, they dont mean progressive trance like some people call tiesto and stuff.. anyways. a few names for you to check out in the prog trance and cross-over prog trance: d-nox and beckers antix andre absolut minilogue haldolium ticon luke chable

Frontier Psychiatrist
cheers guys il search on the forum for some mixes 506217 The mixes are not as spread as on the Prog scene. Most of the albums are released on unmixed compilations or on artist albums. Mix CDs are very rare. As Sherlock advised you should check Antix and Ticon's albums. They are fantastic. The best Prog Psy comes from the following labels: Iboga (Check the Hibernation and the Set series compilations) Digital Structures Flow Records (Check the Globalize compilation) Spiral Trax

abasio
I always kept the first 2 northern exposure CDs in my chilled out collection and the second 2 in my progressive collection. If you like the 1st 2 I would definately look into psy chill as for many years better and better stuff just keeps coming out. Check out Liquid Sound Design (records), Androcell, the 1st shpongle album. If you like the 2nd 2 what was reccomended above is all good + atmos.
