hi bazooko circus,

was it that open air in switzerland near luzern (lungern)? if yes, did you enjoy x-dream and haldolium as well? can you describe their live perfomances?

i wanted to go, but is was too far, so I went to a little one near munich which was a wonder it could take place and no police was present. I think they realized too late what's was going on there ;-)

it was awesome as well, the best deco and atmosphere I've ever seen, really :-)

but back to switzerland tell me more about, I'm really curious.

hi chris,

yes, it was the synthetic vibes party in lungern. to be correct it was ABOVE lungern, because you had to take a chair-lift to get to the party place @ 2013m :) it was an awesom location - from our tent we had an almost 360° panorma view on the beautiful mountains of switzerland.

the deco was really great. look at:

http://perso.wanadoo.fr/trancefx/punkadel.htm

to see some of the uv-hangings they had there. plus a nice laser & fireshow and fireworks (on friday AND saturday)

i arrived at the party on friday at around 2 in the morning - the last sounds of feuerhake´s dj set were flying through the air. it was very soft and trancey. normally too soft for my taste - but okay for my partybegin. after that total eclipse played their live set. it was great - very melodic and psychedelic. they even played some 95 & 96 stuff. that was really great because my shrooms were just kickin´ in 8°p

then came j. monroe. as said above, it was insane. i never heard anything like it. he kept me dancing for hours.... there was so much going on in the music...

later played haldolium. i was surprised in a positiv way. i heard them live before and they just played their old and well known "hits". but not this time! sure, they played some old songs (like a great version of "one of these days" mmhh... ) but they had a lot of new material too. you should watch for outcoming stuff by them, some of it was really great. their sound fits in the morning hours soooo well...

the intro on saturday by xv killist was nice, but nothing too special. x-dream were a bit dissappointing to me. i knew of course that it would be "technoid" but it was too much for my taste. too overwhelming, and for me not very danceable... but many others enjoyed it so maybe it was just me...

afterwards played psysex - first a live act and then a dj set - it was pretty cool, but i didnt dance too much coz i was already pretty tired. but nonetheless i enjoyed sitting there listening to those crazy isra sounds and watching the sunrise...

it was a great party and James Monroe is a great DJ.

his set was rather on the hard side, ruthless and non compromising.

didn't recognize a single track in there but it was all good.

i think feuerhake's set was excellent - it was one of the better sets in the party.at one point he played a psyCover to AC/DC's Thunderstruck(and i would appreciate if someone told me who made it ).

the place went wild!!!

Total Eclipse's set was awsome indeed.it was great fun hearing all those old tracks, and they seemed to really make an effort in making a live act.

about Xdream-Well one of them felt ill apperently so it was only half of them and that was quite dissapointing,i think in these cases u better make a dj set than play live on your own,it's just not the same.

as for the music it was too much irritant and a lot less radio(naturally),but he threw in an oldie once in a while(such as the frog and out here were stoned).

the problem in the 1st day was heavy distortion on the sound system, and Xdream's latest sound is already distorted,so i felt quite sorry for people who had to trip to that mayhem.

Anyway,

a good thumbs up for Vimal and the synthetic vibes people.

pics from that fabulous event online in a day or two in www.psysex.co.il
