The first release from the stable that bought you classics such as Cosmosis and Slide is ‘Resurrection’ compiled by London’s most prolific DJ/Producer and Promoter, Kristian. Nine monster, dance floor fillers, spanning an eclectic collection of genres from the underground scene. From Brazil to Israel, London and France, Transient have collected a montage of global beats from the finest up and coming and established artists of today. 1.Freakulizer.Centre of Mind.Written by Simon Schwendener.

One of the revelations of 2005 Swiss artist Freakulizer is fastly becoming the master of the minimal morning groove.Centre of the mind bounces along with its deep vibes, acompanied by haunting riffs,taking us to a massive uplifting finale.

 

2.Plastic Vibe.Gone.Written by Rizzo Kadosh (Dark Soho) and Franchesco (Kalimamboh) Muria

Israeli morning vibes with an Electro feel.This awesomely produced Gem is one to bring a smile at Sunrise. great arrangement keep the track interesting through and its fine percussive drive and epic melodies will sure make this one of the summer favs.

 

3.Star x.Religion.Written by Gabi Asher and Eran Hemingberg,

Another monster from the new look starx ,which have been causing waves in the last months.Religion is pure sunrise funk.A massive hook of a sample

and funky melodies compliment the driving b line very well.

 

4.2Hi.Bad Boy.Written By Machello Vor and

This track reflects a bit of the electro influence trance music can have today. The old school feeling created by the bassline transposes blends with modern technics of music production as well as some hi-tech percussion that creates a very fresh atmosphere, bringing the vibes from the old days together with the sound of the new generation.

 

5.Interactive.Electro times.Written by.Fernando Raol and Caio Andrade

The title of the track says it all . These new Brasilian boys are ones to watch.Electro times is powerfull night to morning full on affair. Cheeky samples

massive 303 riffs and a sinister electro line in the break give this track all the nessesary indigridients of dance floor success.

 

 

6.M Klome V Kristian.Writtem By Matteo Mercurio and Dj Kristian (Khristian Vinales)

Percussive minimal night time funky track.Massive electro lead in the break, taking the track up a level.A funky vocal drives along on the track,giving it

major funky vibes, but still keeping the night time element. A great original sounding colaboration between Mklome and Dj Kristian.

 

 

7.Fortu.Juice.Written by Steven Fortunato @ Portabello studios.

A very original track incoroprating old school riffs with massive fx.The break is ,followed by super powerfull stabs that have massive dance floor

reactions. Certainly one of the intersting tracks of 2006 in a class of it own.Both morning and night tendencies.

 

 

8.Kruger and Coyle.The Witness.Dino Psaras Rmx.....

Progressive monsters Kruger and Coyles aclaimed track the witness, gets a Psy Trance rework by one of the massive names of the scene veteran artist Dino Psaras .He and his studio partner Ian Rive, combine a minimal 80s fueled bline and twisted fx which build and build along side the awesome vocal sample of the original.

 

 

9.Solead.Disco Valley.Triptych Rmx....

New Electro house act Solead is the side project of Triptych .So who better to rmx into Psy Trance than Triptych himself.Superb bouncy day time melodies and massive gituar riffs give the track great hooks. super original sound and different arragments to anything around is to be expected from this one.

 

Kristian Profile.

Kristian is from Gibraltar but moved over to London in 1997 after finishing his Hnd at Cardiff Uni. He started dj'ing in 1999 as a resident of Chichime

-now one of Britain's top Psy Trance nights- and soon began to play all over London and the UK in all the killer parties.

In late 2002 he was signed on by legendary UK Psytrance label Transient and compiled three cds for them, becoming an international dj.He is now the main Psychedelic Trance resident dj with Es Collective who host the Antiworld/Psygate parties in The Uk,This organasation has grown to become one of the worlds leading party organisers,holding regular events for 3000 people,and using the world famous London venue Brixton Academy to host events for over 5000 people.

Kristian had the pleasure of mixing the first (Es Collective) Psygate mixed cd (Psychedelic Accademy 1 ) in collaboration with Hommega,the release was for the Uk only and sold out in no time.Since then this has been followed by Psy Accademy 2 mixed by Astrix.

Currently he is putting together a compilation for Transient (Ressurection) to be released very soon..he also has ties with Phantasm Recs.

 

GIGS.

 

Kristian has played in over 18 countries in the last two years.Japan,Israel,Turkey,Germany,France, Swiss, Belgium (Where he has a residency with www.dacru.be),Holland,Spain,Greece,Cyprus,Slovakia,Poland,Denmark,Republic Of Irealand,Portugal,Austria and Italy.

International festivals like Glade. Uk, Full Moon.Ger, Tshitraka.Ger, Sonica.It, Electromind.Fr,Freedom.Port, Middle Earth.Dk, Heron.Bel, Ratki Dai/ Femina.Bel, Omni Sp and Souleclipse in Turkey. With many more festivals to come in the suumer of 2006

Uk dance music magazine IDJ. (www.i-dj.co.uk),one of the worlds most prestigious music magazines had an article on how Psy Trance was fast become the most popular dance music styles of the moment.The article was called The Rising Stars it had interviews with Infected Mushroom,Astrix,Sub6,Eskimo,Altom,Xerox and Illumination,Sirius Isness,Mick Chaos (Of Distributors Chaos Unlimited)...and also Kristian,a rewarding achievement for being one of the most consistant djs in the scene.

This winter he became the first dj from the scene to play a mixed session at Kiss 100 fm (The John Askew Show) and was also interviewed.Later on the year Kiss 100 fm had Astrix on the mix and will soon have young wizz kid Eskimo in Oct 2005.He has also played a set on New Wave Radio for Ministry of Sound.

Interviews on Chai Shop,Harder Faster (The Uk biggest Dance music forum),X vibes (Brasil) and Bristol based magazine Upfront,plus reviews in international Psy Trance magazines Shangri La and Revolve also form part of his press portfolio .

 

 

DEJA VOO.and other production projects.

 

Kristian is now working on a live act with the talented Dj Kalimamboh the live act is called DEJAVOO, and is already causing major interest with different labels.Keep an eye out for this project.Their first release out on Alchemy Records on a V/A called Elsewhere.

K9 is a track on the Aphid Moon album, it was written by Aphid Moon together with Kristian and has recived air Play in Kiss Fm.and was released on Nano Records. The Track he has written together with M Klome (Alchemy/Millenium called Weird Vibe) will be released in Transient (V/A Ressurection) very soon.
