Guest stringtheory
Check out The Delta: Scizoeffective. It is made by one half of X-Dream...I think it is Rush who makes it, can't remember for sure. Anyway, it is remarkable. Very dark and powerfull. Very interesting music. Check out Dark Soho if you like deep, heavy basslines.

Guest eCactus
The Delta is Marcus C. Maichel from X-Dream. Their latest album "Send In... Send Back" has a greater involvement by Arne and Wayan from Spirallianz/Midi Miliz. I really disagree, though, that "Send In... Send Back" sounds more like "Irritant" than "Schizoeffective." "Send In... Send Back" is very dark and heavy while "Irritant" has some lighter tracks much like "Schizoeffective." To answer the original question, I would look into both Jan and Marcus' (from X-Dream) collaborations such as Organic Noise, C.O.P. and the Delta, of course. The latest Noosphere album also has some tracks produced by Marcus C. Maichel. If you had to buy just one of them, I would buy "Schizoeffective" by the Delta. It's an amazing album and the fact that it was made in 2000 makes it all the more amazing. I would also recommend Spirallianz/Midi Miliz and also Authentik/Three Point Turn. Their styles are as close to X-Dream's techno/trance as you can find w/out listening to immitations. Also check out the new compilation from Boshke Beats "Chronika Chapter 1." It has tracks by Midi Miliz, The Delta, and Authentik among others, and it will be out very soon. Check psyshop.com and saikosounds.com for it in early September. peace, eCactus
