Lemmiwinks
So I remember a time on Psynews where there was no competition: Simon Posford was GOD and there were people on this forum who were so fanatical about it that they were prepared to personally take a plane to anywhere where someone didn't think so and kick their asses... HOWEVER I see things changing these days. So who is the new king?
Insejn
His name is Matthew De Nobrega.
Anoebis
Derango  Naah, today there is a pretty wide range of all kinds of music-style-lovers here
furthur
i think it is a good sign that there is not one person that dominates the scene  of course bill russell was a fun and fascinating persona to follow, but basketball just wasn't as much fun back then, because he dominated so much.  ok, granted, the analogy sucks, but i stand by my argument

Not sure of basketball but I get the reference. Same happened with Tiger Woods in golf. He was the God, unbeatable for a while, but everyone else raised the games to try and compete. Now psy trance isn't a competition but posford did dominate for a while. Do you think everyone else raised there game or he dropped off the high pace he set? Insejn
not sure if understand what you mean might be a language barrier thingy 521647[/snapback] Heh, I meant that to me there is one person dominating the scene. That might not be enough to make him God in the scene since I suppose there aren't much people agreeing on that he is dominating.

Derango's music is good, but far from being divine  If there is a god of psytrance, it's either Colin OOOD or Billy Cosmosis - they both have new albums in pipeline and I expect getting a promo-copy for the statement above  No, but seriously - there's lots of talented producers in every psy-trance subgenre, even in full-on and it's really pointless trying to name just one... Dajek
I have pretty much lost interest in psytrance. So I don't know.. I don't see any bright talents in the scene that are making something unique and enjoyable. Â In psy(ish) chill however there is still hope. Which is nice =)

Basilisk
Derango, Midi Miliz, Ticon... all candidates for "hottest act on the scene" right now imho... I dunno about this god stuff - maybe because I'm more of an agnostic listener
