Guest kingdok
Remember "Ethnotechno," released on Wax Trax/TVT in 1994? Well today I found a vinyl promo-sampler of that compilation that has (in addition to two other tracks) "Alash (When I Graze My Beautiful Sheep)" by Juno Reactor and "Tenskwa Tawa" by Total Eclipse. For whatever reason I never bought the CD, which made getting these tracks on vinyl even more cool. 'Just thought I'd share my giddyness. They're not rare tracks or anything -- you can buy the CD on Amazon.com -- but they hold some pleasant nostalgia for me. Ordering music online is cool and all, but there's something extra thrilling about finding that diamond in the rough when you're at a big record store. Guest Mescalinium
I completely agree. That's one of the things I love about collecting vinyl. Speaking of finds, my friend recently found the promo EP for the Project II Trance comp on Dragonfly (released in 1993!!!) in a used record store in philly. It has the first ever Simon Posford track and Total Eclipse track. Needless to say, I was pretty jealous
