Guest Astro Cortex Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Hey Ho, Finally, I got around to providing you another journey through deep ambient soundscapes…. Transmissions in Resonance 3: The Environmental Experience www.sonic-energy.net/audio/AstroCortex_The_Environmental_Experience.mp3 This time I’ve taken a rather unconventional approach to the constructive process, the outcome of which is a little different from the usual “one track after another” format. The backbone is formed by a mix of the following two long-playing compositions: Pete Namlook & Tetsu Inoue – Orion Transfer Pete Namlook & Charles Uzzell-Edwards – Macro To this basic mixture I added the following ingredients, including some extra slices of environmental ambience: Pete Namlook – The Flight (excerpt) The KLF – Six Hours to Louisiana, Black Coffee Going Cold The Circular Ruins – Confluence Vir Unis & James Johnson – Cartesian Plane 1 The Orb – Blue Room (Excerpt 605) The KLF – Dream Time in Lake Jackson Tetsu Inoue – Man Made Heaven Chris Meloche – In the Air (excerpt) The Future Sound of London - Cerebral Everything in 192kbps and CD-friendly 78 minutes. hope some people will find enjoyment in my little experiment Bon appetit! Guest Cosmogenesis Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Hey Astro, I have problems with the download. It always cuts after a few seconds. Quote
JackCheese Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 I have no problems downloading it here, it's not very fast but it's still downloading after 25% Quote

JackCheese Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Yo Astro, I finally got round to giving this a listen, and I must say it's véry well done, I have yet to discover what's exactly happening between the two backbone tracks and the other tracks on top of them, but for that reason I'm gonna burn it onto a cdr, to hear it on a better soundsystem.
