Reznik Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Hello, im searching for an alternative of the waves plugins Rvox and Rbass, for live usage, cause it takes up to 20% of my cpu, you know one?? Quote
Mike A Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 not much any plugins which worth is will take even more Quote
Reznik Posted May 23, 2006 Author Posted May 23, 2006 thanks man, i just thought cause even an waves eq takes more cpu than others, so there could be an alternative that costs me lower cpu.. but its ok now i fixed it working with waves Quote
Cybernetika Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 I think there is a way to emulate what the RVox does. Just use a generic compressor and set the ratio to 0.4:1 and lower the threshold and see what happens However, as already said, the RVox still is the best for this purpose, plus its really easy to use.
