qa2pir
I think i have tracks by Deathprod and Steve Roach that are like 30 och 40 minutes. But there are songs stretching over several cd's, i think.
abasio
Shaolin Wooden Men - A binary input to flesh antena is 40:42 and that is a very good piece of ambient.

Bahamut
There's quite some very long ambient drones stuff by Roach, Rich and others I'm sure... and the average Klaus Schulze track is like 30 minutes (of which some are very good, but most is just endless synth noodling). But I'd like to mention Manuel Göttsching - E2-E4 (59:34, recorded 1981) No endless ambient drones, it's rhythmic, repetitive, minimal and very hypnotic. It will drive you nuts, but it's good anyway. Guest Cosmogenesis
I would like to propose the track "Journey" from Elysium, 44:27 min, but Robert Rich has definitely broken the record!!!
Otto Matta
Brian Eno has some good ones, disks with one long track. One I own is called Neroli, about an hour long, very minimalistic, but in the Modern musical sense, and definitely something to space out to. agia_igoumeni
NON - Solitude 7" ep http://www.discogs.com/release/13144 This limited-edition 7" from NON (Boyd Rice) contains a full version of the track "Solitude" (which is taken from the LP "Receive the Flame") on the A side, and several locked groove noise loops on the B side, which are playable at any speed (i.e., 33, 45, 78). There is also a second hole drilled in the single, but good luck getting the needle to stay in any one particular groove while using this insane add-on of which Rice seems inordinately fond (e.g., his own "Black Album"). technically it lasts FOREVER

Bahamut
It's also here: http://www.groove.nl/cd/6/61515.html 7 hours of ambient is just too much... It's great to immerse yourself into a world of sound for 1 to 1,5 hours... but after that it gets tedious and boring and your ears will be tired. So basicly the only use for it would be background noise while working or sleeping. But if I can't listen actively to music and the only function is background noise, I'm not interested.
