Anyone know of any psytrance artists doing really unique sounds similar to infected mushroom's 'dancing with kadafi' and the like? (blends of tribal, orchestral [violin, cello, etc].

not exactly the same kind of track exactly, but you could do worse than check out a track called "invocation" by Anubis which featured on a psychedelic chillout compil a few years back... the name of which escapes me.

The compilation you are talking about is "Eclipse - A Journey of Permanence and Impermanence"

 

Yes that Anubis track is awesome (well the whole comp is), but not like IM's Dancing with Kadafi as you said. But can't help with the main problem, don't know anything that comes close to the track. Good luck finding, please tell us if you do find something :]
