lightpipe Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 indeed the baseline (bass and kick) + pattern are more present compared to other psychedelic ambient, it's more directions converting vegetarians second cd, but again totally different... Yes, it is totaly different from all the other ambient stuff out there, also different from all their earlier albums, dont know if I like it at much as their earlçer ones, but it is quite good 8.8 / 10 Quote
lightpipe Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 on second smoke, it is a pretty fucking good album, have to give it a 9.5 /10 . Quote
digital90 Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 I really like this album, but I think it has bit too much Shpongle-isms in it. It is like Shpongle has set a template for this stuff.... Quote

Shpongle has never done anything like that, not even closely. cant compare this album with any other, not even the other Entheogenic albums. A different vibe to it. Like: 1, 3, 4, 5, 6! 8 is kinda interesting. Quote
lunary Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 I've listened to this now quite a few times & I can't remember a single track on it! BGM only Well it isnt pop music. I find Golden Cap more agressive than their other albums. Depending on the mood I am in. Overall a pretty good album. . Quote
kathmandu Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 now listening to it again in 2008. I am really liking it. Like the 3rd taking to the scary room and the 6th track's funkiness. Quote
Jabaquara Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 now listening to it again in 2008. I am really liking it. Like the 3rd taking to the scary room and the 6th track's funkiness. It has it's moments - track 3 it a cool track :posford: but IMO is nothing compared to their new album 'Flight of the Urubus' - this one is a jem Quote

yerg Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 What a nice surprise from Entheogenic. This album sounds really good - not as good as "Spontaneous Ilumination" though. It is pretty original in many ways - i liked rhtyhms alot and mostly all sounds were pretty well sampled - but i guess those etno-voices could be avoided here. After reading most of reviews here i thought it'll be boring and it did on the first two tracks but everything else is just great. 8/10 Quote
