RTP
Vibrasphere - Archipelago (Digital Structures) Once more Vibrasphere proved to us how big artists they are!!!Amazing album, great quality, beautiful vibe & profesional work! These guys are also very good producers in ambient - chill music, some great tunes in that disc!Definitely one of the best albums in 2006!!! Highly Recommended (if u dont have it yet)! Sonic Cube - Filter (Tribal Vision) Amazing work from these Swiss artists!!!Great progressive style with the best quality i ever heard!!!Highly Recommended!!! 550012 Absolutely seconded And I would add Tegma - Around The World In 80 Minutes (Tribal Vision) to the list too! Well, these three. Those are my best of 2006 of now. Nothing more. And as S-Range's new piece will most likely wait for a release forever I don't think anything will be added until the end of the year either. Case closed for me

Most of it, I find totally unlistenable.
Time_Trap
I am listening to the new Squarepusher right now but so far i think the best [non-psytrance] release was Flint Glass - Nyarlathotep Best psy-trance release in 2006.. hmmmm not really many choices

Personally though I think a best of 2006 thread is kind of pointless until at least half way through 2007... I find I have to own an album for a long time before I can really give a meaningful opinion on how good it is, and most of my absolute favourite albums ever are ones I didn't like the first few listens (in some cases I'd owned the album for about a year before I came to realise how good it is). Also I freqently encounter good albums that I never heard of until years after they were released. With that in mind, it seems like a good time to ask: What are people's favourite psytrance albums of 2005? Karmageddon for me.

PKS
I guess I shouldn't be allowed to add this compilation as best release of 2006 so far because I am behind it myself But anyway, it's still my own opinion and personal taste: V/A Relaxed Journeys (Chill Tribe Records) http://www.discogs.com/release/671259

abasio
2006 is far from being over 623200 True. I'm sure the original best of 2006 thread was titled best of 2006 so far. There is no harm in stating your favourites so far. I have & I'm sure my opinion will change by the end of the year

Guest antic
Personally I think this thread is (as of today) exactly 1 month-1 day premature. But then, I would, wouldn't I 622739 That might be true, according to samples I've heard, but so far the winner IMO is: V/A - Alpha Rhythms (Wildthings Rec.) But then again, we should be able to hear new Prometheus, GBU, Eat Static & Error Corrective albums before the year's end...
