One of my favourites is Atmos 2nd brigade though. If you wanna call that progressive. I want 2B is far better than his first in my view which I always found a little too minimal. And just one more Tegma Avant Garde. Oh, and Ticon Zero Six or Aero. Quote
Stalker Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Really, Beat Bizarre as one of the best 554161[/snapback] Really.... Quote
Stalker Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Beat Bizarre dos not only Rocks the floor but it also rocks your head, cause there is some really weird psychedelic elements in their music Progressive psytrance is a little bit dodgy genre. It’s the best we got, but still dodgy Why is it dodgy? Because it is, man.... Quote

I'm really really sorry for you RAH Btw Ov3dos3, Lewd is the first Beat Bizarre album released in 2000 if I'm not mistaken That’s one of the most important and influential album in psytrance history. One of the first minimal albums with wide acceptance and a groovy side Go check it out Quote

I find that album pretty boring. Surely you can't mention that as one of the best progressive albums Haven't heard Lewd. PGB scared me I'm curious btw. How would you define the difference between progressive trance and progressive psytrance? Quote
Tox Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Element - Full Moon SBK - Treibstoff Shiva Chandra - Gecko Atmos - Headcleaner Son Kite - Colours Ticon - Aero Tegma - Around the world in 80 min POTS - Creating social succes Ooh... & X-dream - Radio (don't start nagging about it again, it IS Progressive ) My love for Iboga has fainted a little but the new albums by Liquid Soul & Freq (wgich should have come out the-day-before-yesterday!) , should take care of that. As for compilations: check out anything recent on Tribal Vision, Avalance or Plastik Park... Enjoy! Quote
Otto Matta Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 I think a lot of the acts listed are minimal rather than progressive. Like Lewd, which I think is a good album. And X-Dream (I know you were trying to be provocative, but I'll fall for it and say there's absolutely NO way Radio is a progressive album). Either way, I really can't get into the stuff - it doesn't have the force and energy of the music that got me into this genre. Lime Structure has a few good tracks. Quote
