Try contacting some Insurance companies. This will probably come under Household/Home contents insuarance. There may be special policies for naming certain expensive items. I can only comment on the UK though, it may be different in other countries. Good Luck!!!

Always take a polaroid (and number each foto) of each equipment and send a copy off to the insurance company you choose. Remember to get a written reply (consent) from the insurance company that they accept the polaroids as acceptable evidence.

 

This way you will always have a evidence that you actually own the equipment in case of burglary, equipment breaking down ect.

 

Some insurance companies have been neglecting their obligation to pay the real amount back to persons claiming that they did not own the equipment in the first place.
