Rebirth Project with my old stuff

I have an idea,

after so long I couldnt get myself a 303 neither a 808 nor a 909

i have rebirth and all its mods

my mom has an old laptop sitting at the basement getting dusty

i have a uc33 controller to control rebirth

i can get a second hand laptop soundcard that can fit the old laptop

and I hope it ll be enough for rebirth

anyone who has gone through the same

or did it

how did it suceed

how did it sound

I really wonder if its worth the work

cause my mom lives in a different city

I ll have to find a 2n hand soudncard and blah blah

tell me what you think

or any recommendation is wellcome

i think if both the soundcards have digital in-outs it should be very cool.

if not , well i guess is up to the quality of the ad converters. which cards are u using??

the most difficult on these kind of configurations is to get both machines synchronized. which sequencer ar u using???

 

another good option when using two cpus is something like system link or fx teleport, i think u could check that option out. i dont know if it only supports vst though. for good emulations of the roland box check: audiorealism bassline and d16 phoscyon!
