Amygdala Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Hi everybody, I'm looking for a sample library with some huge drums. Taikos, ceremony style huge-ass thunders, wooden percussion mayhem and such like. I fell over this "StormDrum" lib by Quantum Leap and it seems nice... But I want to hear some honest people's opinions before spending $200... Do you know it? Is it any good? Alternatively, do you know of any other really good libs? Thanks in advance, -A Quote
cronodevir Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 id like to know where to get some 'huge-ass thunders' also, i have a sample set that is about 3 gigs in size, and 99.9% of it is ethnic trums and regular drums, not very many big boomers, [maby 4 big boomers] i need more heh, would make my track complete Quote
Gaffel Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Yeah, I listened to "Stormdrum Loops" and "Stormdrum Kits". It is a nice collection of drums and percussion, but a little bit expansive, I think. An good alternativ to this are (what I use) WIZOO libraries. You can get custom drum samples like Sonor and Tama, Zyldjan and Sabian cymbals. Electronic drums are available as STYLE KITS, also. I don't know the prices of WIZOO collections , but You can test some demos. http://www.wizoosounds.com/cgi-bin/WebObje...fh4l/0.0.20.0.3 http://www.wizoo.com/index_en.html I would listen then to Your work. Good luck. Quote
