Guest gandu Posted September 15, 2002 Posted September 15, 2002 the album on a whole sounds good to me but human evolution??...WTF is up with that?? its probably the cheeziest track iv come across...totally destroyed my 'mood' for the album...xpected something else better from cosmosis...but then again...its only ONE track that sux on there..so doesn't really matter. khogg Posted September 15, 2002 Posted September 15, 2002 Is it like Intergalactic... or... ? What kind of sounds and style? Quote
Guest 1 Posted September 16, 2002 Posted September 16, 2002 oh... my god "human evolution" may as well be added to a comp of cutsey techno remixes (and proabably WILL which will dillute the scene) along with Tetris techno remix and ABC's Techno remix and Child Lullybys and Christmas songs all techno remixed. for the cutesy techno remix club. Guest S Posted September 16, 2002 Posted September 16, 2002 I hope they step back to cosmosis-style as well :) :) oooooo yeah......... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm -=- Matt/Strumpling -=- mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yeah. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm *ahem!* oh excuse me.. Quote
Guest stringtheory Posted September 16, 2002 Posted September 16, 2002 I am really looking forward to this album. I have heard so many wonderful things about Cosmosis, but am unable to find any of his early releases stateside. Quote
Guest spacemonkey - 604 Posted September 16, 2002 Posted September 16, 2002 stringtheory, try the label (transient) itself. (it's not stateside but they still have all of them) Quote
shpongled Posted September 16, 2002 Posted September 16, 2002 I thought that "human evolution" was kinda funny at least... yes the sample sounds super cheesy but I like the idea of remixing classical music... actually I wish every CD would have one "special" track... there's still plenty of room for serious work. Guest stringtheory Posted September 16, 2002 Posted September 16, 2002 Thanks for the advice spacemonkey :-) Shpongled...That is in my mind supremely interesting that Cosmosis remixed a classical piece. I really like when artists push the creative envelope and try different things. They may not always succeed, but the attempt is very commendable. And often times, they do succeed, and something beautiful is born :-) Quote
shpongled Posted September 17, 2002 Posted September 17, 2002 Yes Stringtheory... that's exactly what i had in my mind too. Quote
Strumpling Posted September 17, 2002 Posted September 17, 2002 now all we need is for them to MAKE some new classical music ;-0 Imagine some TWISTED CLASSICAL )) Quote
