Tryin to make a better bass with Z3ta+ but....:(

I am tryin to make the "Skazi" type bass....

 

Can anybody tell me which preset, through Z3ta+ Waveshaping Synthesizer VST, to use and what settings to do in order to archive that....?

 

Z3ta+ is best for bass types but i can't find the "Skazi" bass sound.....

why you want to use z3ta?

aint it a bit confusing for the beginning, better start with a synth more simple.

I've just heard Z3ta+ is the best for these kind of basslines (Skazi type).......I love Skazi's Basslines!

i suggest you go to http://www.kvraudio.com/bank.php, there you can download banks/patches for many synth, then search for one bass patch that comes close, and look at the synth.

how is the sound beeing created.

 

but most important is to understand how a synth works, to achieve a killargh sound you need to tweak the knobs yourself.

i think the links provide useful info, just take a read.

also take a look here, this thread is not about bass, but watch out for the posts stalker wrote about vanguard, it is also about synths in general, then you can take your synth and play with it.

vanguard is also capable of good bass...

use startup preset

cutoff 25%

vcq 0

eq mod 100

eq decay try to find something that fits

accent treshold 100

accent level 65

drive tweak

Yeah vanguard has that killargh preset, its great

Just read the tutorials, go to sound on sound and search there for synth secrets.. When u read all that u wont have any questions I suppose..

Well, i am gonna do it through Parametric EQ and Fruity Compressor.....I hope i find a solution! Btw are these good plug-ins of what they do for the basslines?

also lower your notes to c3 or c2 for vb-1

 

for other basslines make it at least c4
