Guest Honguito
On of the files in my broadcasting-playlist is a 70minutes long liveact by Double Dragon. Well, I used to know they're good but as I play this livemix I realize that DD are amazing!! They're truely psychedelic, ohh yeah baby.. This is psychedelic music at its best. My opinion is that DD get way to little attention but i don't know.. Maybe they aren't that popular.. Anyhow, what I wanted to ask you is what DD are up to these days. Are they working on a new album (I hope so!!!!!!)? Are they working with any sideprojects? Or maybe DD is a sideproject? If you know any nice info or rumour about DD then come on, squeeze it out!! Guest russ
The new Double Dragon cd "Transparent" on Plusquam was available here in Japan at a party he played at this weekend. It, of course, is amazing, with fantastic sounds and loads of manipulated voices. It's progressive and psychedelic at the same time. There is also one downtempo dub-like track on the album which is wicked. The album will available everywhere very soon. If you don't have them you should also get the 2 12" released this past year, the Tin Drum/Stylophone one on Spiral Trax and the Cabin Fever one on Spiritzone, both are amazing. BTW, Double Dragon is just one person, Steve Good, and his newest stuff (unreleased) is getting slower, in the 135bpm range. For this style, check out the next Iboga compilation. He should have a track out on that.
