Man use Propellerhead Rebirth 2,it's a free program with less cpu intensive.Rebirth is simulation of tb303,tr808 and tr909.

Uh oh, ReBirth's potential is seriously limited. Buzz is far more versatile.

Go check subsynth, its free, it uses very little cpu. It is very simple 2 oscillator synth, you can not play it in real time but you can create pretty nice waves with it.

Thnaks all for the replies... I can't use rebirth because the d-load is a cd image, and I don't have a cd burner... Besides, Rebirth was acid emulation.

 

Buzz is good right now, and I can make short samples in floops and play them back in buzz.... as 16bit (or 8bit??) wav files....

 

I'll check out subsynth though....
