Guest kingdok Posted September 22, 2002 Share Posted September 22, 2002 I don't feel like registering at the moment, so here's my Ololiqui review : Yet another disappointing release from Spirit Zone. Ololiuqui have been slipping ever since "Valves" in 1999. I liked it (albiet less than "Dito"), but it didn't sit well with a lot of folks here. "Reverse Engineering" is even more subdued, using the same tired sounds and stripping back even more melody. "Restarter", "Concepti" and "The Deep" have the most complexity, so they're the most fun to dance to. No peak-hour stuff here. Lots of fluff. 'Ends with a great chill track, however. I've always appreciated your well-articulated language, so I'd hate to miss out on that in the future... Haven't heard the album though... Guest psyfi Posted September 22, 2002 Share Posted September 22, 2002 i have to disagree. i think the new album is much better than valves but still can#T beat dito which was really really great. the new one is just an average album. only beautiful stands out to me but you can also get this track on global psychedelic chill out 3 and on some other comps.
