So, I've decided to only buy *masterpieces*

Of course average music can grow on me, but then it won't be average anymore.

 

Example: Lateralus went from average to masterpiece in a week.

 

IFO has been average for years now.

I usually give CDs 2/3 years if I still don't like them after that then I'll sell them.

Sometimes you need the average music so you can appreciate the masterpieces all the more.

Sometimes average music groes on you with time.

Fully agree with abasio what is average now can become better when YOU evolve or take enough time to understand it more.

If I look back on what I listened to in the past and what I listen to now, I see clear evolution.

Some masterpieces became ---> very good ---> good--->ok

and the other way around, mostly because too much listening to the same cd's over and over seems to numb off the experience.
