healium
Gabriel Le Mar is one half of Saafi Brothers I think... Anyhow this is a very nice little downtempo album - generally melodic and elegant synth lines done in a catchy way, often very emotional... This is more in the direction of "straight" downtempo along the Ultimae lines than the "hippy" style stuff ala Entheogenic or Shpongle... I'm terrible at writing reviews quite frankly, but I think people should check this out anyway.. Listen to some samples... I found out about this album at a psytrance party - I was hanging out in the chill tent when this absolutely incredible track came on - I asked the DJ who it was and he said "Gabriel Le Mar, Reel Time - he's the best!", so I bought it... I think it was either track 1 or track 6 that I heard there at that party, but it's hard to say because of the soundsystem and hallucinogens involved at the time... Anyhow track 1, and tracks 6-11 are my favorites... I've had this album as my wake-up CD alarm for about a month now...
