Guest MMV
Heya ! I have the z3ta+ VST and i am experiencing some big prroblems. I use FL Studio as a sequencer, and i have to open 4 or 5 instances of z3ta+ for using more tthan one bank. But this overloads my CPU. It actually kills it. If more then 3 instances of z3ta+ are running at the same time, my CPU is. I was wondering if there is any other way of using more banks of z3ta simultaneously without opening more than one instance of the VST. Do you have any idea? Reznik
lol, midikeaboard isnt that expensive. m-audio and esi have pretty good cheap ones, keystation 49e called i think. anyways, here is what i do if my cpu cant handle one more synth track. i render to wav and use it as a wav sample this is what you should do man
Guest MMV
Yeah.. that's how i finished my last song.. i've rendered all the tracks. But it sucks Not much of modulation possible after rendering to wav :-s
Guest MMV
You know.. Sample Tank ( another great VST instrument) can support up to 16 instruments or so in the same instance of the VST. You just set different channels for the MIDI Out you use.

FungalGrowth
DiscoDSP Discovery is a great synth. It's modelled after a Nord Lead, and sounds great! Use the red skin to make it look like a Nord too! http://www.discodsp.com/discovery/ Linplug Albino 3. Another one of the most popular softsynths in psy. It sounds great! I hear Derango uses it extensively. That's good enough for me http://www.linplug.com/Products/Albino_3/albino_3.htm Hope I've been of help

I tried albino 1 2 & 3 before, but none worked for me. I just can't change the preset :| It always uses the preset that starts with, no matter how many times i try to change it. Any ideas why? (I use FL Studio as a host)

cronodevir
also, use 'smaler synths' for instance, the ts404 [which i am useing severa instances of in my new acid track] can be good for makeing psy sounds if you use it and good FX, i would reccomanded al the fx from the classic series, and try to get SPaceEffect, if you put enough work into it, you can make some amazeing stuff with the simpier synths, like wasp or synth1, it is a lesson i learned long ago. Most psy sounds are generally easy to make too i find. so i think the simple synths woprk just well
