Guest akindo Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 My advice would be to start out progressive, not really like Son Kite, somehow psychedelic progressive, still very groovy, not repepetitive like minimal music is. Then slowly build it up, until you end with stuff like Skazi! akindo Quote
Guest sheddt Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 play some housy prog like german style i think full on is too much for freshman................ good luck Quote
Guest baba Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 hi my freind i just wanted to tell you:when you play allways look at the peuple that dance . IF THEY HAPPY YOU HAPPY. PLAY WITH THAM. and play tham somthing easy and cleen like cosma or shpongle even if you dont like it verry much good luck my freind Quote
Guest captain kurk Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 just rip it, play old melodic goa tunes and move on to stuff like the new twisted stuff and new cosmosis. if i was you i would make sure its got a melody and keeps changing so people don't get bored. if the party gets going maybe play some funky reefer decree or iboga stuff to lock everybody on the dance floor just wiggling there arses!! Guest DJ Melchior Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 I think you should play easy trancy tunes like Astral Projection, Yahel and so on. People who dont listen often to this music love the melodic parts Quote
Guest mike hock Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 man~ cant play my beloved Skazi and Acidance stuff ? yah, i guess Cosma or Son Kite would do it.... although i am not sure, i have been away from regular club dacing crowd for years.... maybe play Sasha & Digweed's mixing CD haha? Quote
