Guest PsyMike
Well mine would have to be the deep tribal psychedelic trance, when it takes you on that journey for a good couple of hours. Dragonfly parties have always had that tip which is nice, been to a few parties in london and everytime it has been very deep music. I think the main reason i like the music is its the minimal sounds which make u grove along and make me tick, very creative and it just simplifies things a bit, but dont get me wrong, i do also love to dance me tits off to the fast, hard, psychedelic goa trance............ :~)
Tatsu
mine is definitely melodic trance, you know old-school stuff, israely stuff and the likes. i also like some of the new full-on stuff. but a mixture between new and old full-on/melodic stuff would be my favourite party music... Guest Mike D
MM, I love deep tribal stuff, especially the trance mix from Re:evolution IV (Flying Rhino) But the melodic stuff really is cool as well, my fav. for the last about month or so being Alien Pets - Prana. Guest Red Headed Stepchild
I'd have to say my favorite type of trance at the moment is Full-on progressive. I say at the moment because at times minimal and goa are what I feel like. As of now I love Progressive for its great groove and really love the new Full-on style of Prog. Now there are some older stuff that has this style like some of the songs on X-dream Radio (like Freak and also Psychomachine) but mostly this a 2002 thing. Like Penta and other up and coming Artists. They seem to have found a happy medium using the groove of prog and the energy of full-on but without crazy melodic lines of goa. Now don't get me wrong I love melodies but it is great to see that people have found other ways of creating a build that drives you and makes you go insane on the floor. It grooves and it also builds into massive energy. Well enough for that, ((((((((((PEACE) ))))))))))

Guest Full Lotus
Psychedelic/Progressive trance with acidic overtones
Guest Alek
dark, melodic/full-on... (battle of the future buddhas, dark soho...)
Guest --==1400MiLeS==--
Etnic psychedelic tribal stuff...Juno Reactor, Medicine Drum, loatsa Psyambient...For the faster stuff I mainly trust my old skewl collection (IFO, Twisted, LetsTurnOn ea). The new breed of full on (Alien Project, Talamasca ea) is a tad too GMSish for me (more mouth than brain) and progressive/minimal lacks the colorful acid melodrama that got me into Goa in the first place. I didn't like techno in 1987 and still don't see or hear the appeal of hypnosy through repetitive monotones. I am the hallucinogetic hippie type, I like bright colors, rainforests, Yetis and Shamans...
Guest bahamut
- full-on psytrance with good rhythm and melodies, often older stuff (example: man with no name, hallucinogen) - morning trance with good melodies (example: human blue) - groups who have their own, original style (example: juno reactor) - REAL progressive trance which is completely different from "progressive" psytrance (example: james holden)
