snowball Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 A girl I know asked for some chillout... purist that I am,I am going to make her a copy of my much cherished and tripped on, TIP - Mystical Experinces. Which is an all time mind expander for me. She is into Era and Enigma. So it should be a real neuron booster for her! I dont have any other ideas of what to give her...maybe Left Coast Liquid vol 1.... I am not mentioning MOTY 1 and 2 since they are in the same style as Mystical Experiences. And no beatless either, since not many ppl like that genre. Bad for them! So what would you give her if you were in my shoes? PS: I am not asking for advice,I already burned the disk Just making a discussion! Quote
Shaft Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Well this is the cd I'm burning for a friend, haven't actually passed him the cd yet, when he gets back from uni then I'll give him a copy. http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=41956 Quote
Snapinho Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Why not start with the beginning and give'r some Shpongle. Agreed, not the most original, but still very good and accessible. Otherwise: Bluetech? Androcell? Is she into psychedelics? Anywave, Ott or Ooze are very accessible and still topnotch! Quote
FTP Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Banco de Gaia - Last train to Lhasa My first real chill, get me shivers just when think of it Quote
Time_Trap Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 I think you should try these: Synaesthesia Sasha - Airdrawndagger Bluetech/ Shulman / Solar Fields Aes Dana P.S. No.. Not shpongle or hallucinogen for first time.. Quote
Nurbs Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Cell - phonic peace Kaya project - elixir Quote
unikos Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 hmm have you got enigma - lsd remixes? might be good for your novice friend! also, i've noticed shpongle really works with the un-initiated. especially the 3rd one.. and how about vibrasphere - manzanilla... Quote
Trolsk Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 I would recommend something a little bit less psychedelic if she is a novice. Maybe: V.A. - Beneath the Surface V.A. - Kumharas Vol 2 V.A. - Left Coast Liquid V.A. - Melatonic Music Personally, I would give her something outside of the psy genre, like Thievery Corporation, Cibelle, Colleen, Fila Brazillia or Flanger.
