Oopie
I am not planning to spend too much time with the scene next year. Hope there will be interesting IDM/Minimal/Ambient releases and some interesting findings from the far past. Planning to listen to some Bob Dylan, Neil Young and the likes.Pavel, as a man of good ears I know you'll lick the ground in front of me when I suggest you to get yourself 'Galaxy 2 Galaxy - A high tech jazz-compilation'. I don't wanna hear any butts, unless you have some unrlsd alexis material...

CHOKO
So next week it's a new year! 2007 is just around the corner & I'm sure a lot of music will be released some bad some good some god damn awful some brilliant stuff! But how do you think this scene will progress in the next year? Will we see a change or is it going to be more of the same! Which sub genre do you think will release the best albums? Which label do you think will release the best stuff? Which artist do you know has some great stuff in the pipeline? oh & for those that say 2007 will be 100% crap & that no modern music can compare to the oldschool sound..... You sound like my dad I THINK MORE HOUSY AND ELECTRO STYLE IN THE PROGRESSIVE SIDE ..... AND COULD BE MORE ACID TECHNO SOUNDS IN THE PSY SIDE !!!!! RTP
Which artist do you know has some great stuff in the pipeline?S-Range Yes. I also predict 2007 as the last hyper full-on trend year. It has been on top way too long for our scene standarts The electrish pornish kind of music will be the new thing I hope so ... although I won't believe it. Besides that the changes of the scene that are taking place here first hit our small country usually much later, so I'm afraid I'll have to wait at least till end of 2008 for this I have a feeling prog psy will die just a little bit. But I hope not. I'm thinking it will all be a bit more of the same and the prog things will go even more house'ish. Just like recent Tribal Vision releases, lots of DNox&Beckers- sort of music. Yes, I do think a bit in the same way ... prog-psy and house will mix even more. I even see myself going to some house parties in the future because psy parties are getting too fullon for me and I have been to a house-like party this year and the sound wasn't even as bad as I expected mainly because of those bit similar elements it already has to prog psy... And yeah, high expectations on future Tribal Vision releases here too _ RA- "the 9th", can't wait to listen it!That indeed is something I too look out for! New Ultimae...has to be time for a new AES DANA release, or *drool*Hol Baumann release!Oh yes, Ultimae too will have some good releases in 2007 I think ... but that's not surprising as I can't think of any Ultimae release that was not good Abakus and Matenda are about due for another one too... MATENDA!!! Yes, yes, yes! Definitely! I want a new one from him! Quoted from his website: "The next album is planned to be released before the summer of 2007." YEEEHAW! Sideffect...
I'm hoping for GOA trance releases. the new afgin full album sounds nice on topic more and better progressive not that I'm not satisfied now, just keep it going
Drosophila
parvati is working on a very special split album with "Derango, Psilo Cowboys (Jahbo & Mussy Moody) and Maniac Bubbles (Syntax Error & Eske from the Hokus Pokus project)." Vapour is also going to be released next year (shameless plug) i'm also hoping to see a Tamlin album next year Mmm I hope that Parvati cd will be a double.... could be quite the bomb! and Tamlin..... I just hope it will happen.... would be a real trippy treat! Album I personally want to see would include Metal Sharon, Eat Static and maybe something new from Psysex. I have heard rumours about that Metal Sharon albums for quite some time now.... I wonder if it will ever happen... I hope 2007 will be the year too though! If Psysex decides to releases a new album I hope they get off the "stinking path" of the other "old great" israeli acts trying the full-on "cash-in" or what ever it is... Psysex still have their dignity (at least I think they have)... just hope it stays that way! I would really like to hear some new stuff from Dubtrees, Tripswitch, Abakus, Nada (abakus+humito) and off course Ott's new one... On the more hard side I would like to see more weird and twisted stuff like Fractal Cowboys ( this one comming soon, yeah!), Ghreg On Earth and the rest of the M.o.E. crew.... Ohh and a new Procs album would be fantastic too!
Jon Cocco
2007 - COMING OUT.. Suntrip releases. - (you guys should get Chi-A.D... I'm telling you) RA album!! Next TALPA album?? I heard it's finished. When is the release date?? I hope this follow-up is a big leap over the great debut. New Ethereal album?? NEW Transwave album still interests me some and the TRANSWAVE COMP with unreleased and "BEST OF" goatrance songs more so. I WANT... A sequel to PHUTUREPRIMITIVE('s) excellent "SUB CONSCIOUS" album released in '04 or '05 in the downtempo genre. This is my most favorite downtempo album EVER next to Shpongle 1+2!!!! BUY and/or SAMPLE it here on amazon for less: http://www.amazon.com/Sub-Conscious-Phutur...TF8&s=music ALSO I wonder what main album SIMON POSTFORD will release next. Will this artist return to his roots?? There are enough ppl on the planet to create great sales with a Hallucinogen 3 if that ever happened. I wish he considered the idea of pursuing a third goatrance masterpiece, that is -- if he could really pull something groundbreaking out of his ass... again. Since after 2004 I have been cutting back, investing less on these albums, the psytrance scene. If an album is truly great or special to me (as Suntrip has generally been) I'll buy it. I enforce quality over quantity now more than ever before. Many albums in general are not worth anywhere near around $18 with shipping included IMHO. All the money-backed marketed mainstream garbage blinds much of the quality that has less money to market it. Thankfully I can learn about the next best goa/psy thing on here. Guest Rezwalker
Transwave - Backfire (12/1/07) *very interesting release cause of the new mastering, and some unreleased+rare tracks* Transwave - Frontfire *i'm not expect something similar good as the old great stuff but transwave is transwave* Transwave - Remixes *that sounds very interesting too, but depends from the artists, i hope isn't nowdays "artists" * RA new album -Spring 2007- *hm..i dunno if will be so good as "to sirius" album but i also believe will be a quality production at least.* Chi-a.d new album *the master is back! i hope his new stuff will arrived b4 the end of the year* i'm not expect anything other interesting for 2007. psytrance is dead since 2001 and there are only some few exceptions every year IMO. RTP
and why not maybe NomaNoma stopped making music as far as I've heard ... friends of him try to convince him to start again though, so let's hope they have success

Spectral Light [08:13] will these be featured in the new album or new tracks..? I found a few months ago seven tracks of Chi-a.d. here, but indeed only 4 of them are finished and included in this E.P., as for the three others they are still in progress (but probably finished now). And the album will see the light this year with the best probabilities. What a shame Ritual Om isn't here online, because he could certainly give us more infos or precisions about it! Guest Cosmogenesis
Looking forward for these: Goasia album Would like to see it definitely! Their tracks on purple energy 2 were excellent, especially "ying yang" and "spectralys"! Hope, if it will be released on unicorn, to be exclusively goa this time, and not half goa, half full-on like purple's or radical distortion's albums. Guest Rezwalker
I've found 4 Chi-A.D tracks online, will these be featured in the new album or new tracks..? I don't think so. a friend of mine has talk with Dave and he said there are allready 2 tracks finished. btw i know from valid source, there are 3 unreleased albums (at least) from chi-a.d (old productions). a double cd with these tracks will be a truly tribute (dreams...) personally i have only 1 track from him and i can say is really stunning..i can't imagine about the rest unreleased collection ..at least it's very good idea if Dave let us download these tracks on his site via payment.. PKS
Hmmm, what will 2007 bring? Hope the trance stuff will change back to something more interesting than the majority we got in 2006... Anyway, I am looking forward to the new PhasePhour album, which will be released this spring... I have allready heard some of it, and it is definately something different. Not full on, not progressive, but maybe something between, with a really quirky touch, which I like... I think it will be released on Geomagnetic. From my own label (Chill Tribe Records), I will bring you a new compilation (Ear Pleasure) with Robert Leiner, Kris Kylven, Blue Planet Corporation, Cosmosis, Snake Thing, Digital Mystery Tour, Kiwa, Highpersonic Whomen, Bluetech and Zen Lemonade. Also an album by Wombatmusic, better known as Kristian Thinning (Elysium), and an album by Polyploid: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Polyploid + an album by Kris Kylven... So, there is definately things to look forward to! Happy new year everybody!

Anoebis
The next monhts I'm looking forward to: Sattle Battle Album Sienis Album Transwave - Backfire Trold Album Pure Planet II Fluorotonik (if the rumour is right) Talpa album Xenomorph album (!!!! The Samples sound totally mindblowing and he will play live here in March to present his new album ) The usual ambient surprises... Ambient is going from strength to strength at the moment imo, so i'm sure I'll find some interesting cds in between next months! About Suntrip stuff Twist Dreams will be releases the 26th of january Ra - 9th should be ready at the end of the spring, altough we don't want to put Christer under pressure to complete it as soon as possible, but the stuff I heard is in the same style as To Sirius, maybe even a little deeper and more eastern melodic and sometimes slower altough there are dance tracks as well
