Guest unikos
i am jealous its so unfair..... if japan wasnt such an expensive country for tourists i would come as well....... every time i look at the parties they throw over there i get mad and i want to go to the airport and spend all my money for the good purpose of going to a kickass party.... just a proposition to the finns: why dont you come to the greek islands.. some finns where here this summer and they seemed to enjoy themselves... play some lives, swim in the blue sea, feel the super erotic vibe etc.... it seems however that no greek promoter has the guts to bring any good music in our parts.. cant blame them the mass only understands what they have heard for the past 5 years and only that.. pitty.... Thanks to the magical forest crew however for giving us a night of australian magik!
Guest Buttwax
I was in Samothraki and enjoyed :-) Pity I don´t perform. Dj Halo from Surreal Audio was also, but wasn't playing (except one night in a bar called Saok or something).

Guest bugbread
All it takes is a promoter with guts. All the Finns are brought to Japan by one guy: Sharaku. He runs little parties (100 - 200 people, compared to 20,000 people for a Solstice party). He was the first, and, I think, only, person to bring Texas Faggot to Japan. Plus, he started up a new label, 6-D Sounds, to release Finnish and Japanese stuff, and he's made new material with the whole Finn crew. Timo and crew came to Japan a month ago and will be in Japan for a total of 3 or 4 months making new music with him. He visited Finland for a month or two this summer, so it's an even deal. Anyway, my point is, this is not a major trance organizer playing for the enlightened masses. As far as I know, it's basically Sharaku, his G/F (or is it wife? or just really good female friend?), and another guy, Bom Masa. Party decorations consist of a few blacklights and a DJ tent. No elaborate constructions, paintings, etc. Anyone COULD do it...but only he actually has. So, if you REALLY want to invite Texas Faggot / Mandalavandalz / Flying Scorpions, just give it your best shot. I don't think it will break the bank like GMS. Guest unikos
the problem is that i know nothing of organising a party and in greece the attrocities that happen in party-organising are really making me not to get involved......
Guest Buttwax
To unikos: Yes we might have. ;-)
Guest bugbread
Yeah, you're right...I've heard some not so great things about the Greek party scene and organized crime. And as far as throwing a party, you're also right, I have no experience either. Hmmm...
Guest Omniholic
greece is great, although some of the promoters are not very good at what they do...theres some really dodgy stuff going on, but i dont care since most of the people are great and the nature is, well, amazing!probably heading there next summer again...
