Your negative feelings and attempt at reconsiling them will never achive anything except compunding them. think.

Guest Beasti
half the music from tip sprouts from the mind of this mad baba, imo way better than many many of the so call psy stuff out there. He is way more than a mere DJ.
Guest Full Lotus
I was there, and it was a nice party. The Music???? Well it was typical Tipworld stuff.....
Guest akindo
I was there too, and I thought it was excellent, although 3 hrs. with GMS sound is a little too much. The live flute Raja Ram was playing, with delay effects was really cool! But I don't think the drums where heard in the music at all, I couldn't hear them, and the microphones weren't pointed towards them. And did they really play live on the JP-8000? Was it Chicago on the right side? Boom shankar! akindo
Guest bugbread
Man, as much as you might respect Raja, you certainly can't say he's a good DJ. Good flute player, maybe, I dunno. Good musician, I have no idea (until he makes a solo album, it's impossible to tell). But good DJ? No way.

Guest sviskon
well... I heard him night time on the main night of voov 2001 and that was an amazing set. His technical skills might not be the very best but he's good enough to make a good set and I had a hell of a good time on that floor. His track selection was great and the floor was really rocking. Guest dam10n
wouldn't say he's a great flut player either... but he's a great entertainer. Whether it's the flut, or DJing, or the interviews on liquid crystal vision or whatever, there's a lot of charisma which is wicked when he's dancing about behind some decks. Guest chris
yes i was there as well and it was imo great. what some of these guys above didn't mention was something what deeply impressed me: During the live set and the DJ set of Raja Jam they mixed a couple of times Shpongle melodies into this full on sound. Not just samples, real melodies, singing parts etc. This was mindblowing it was kind of full-on sphongle. And hey believe me it worked really well!!! The DJ set itself wasn't that bad, but at the end it got a little bit boring when he played Alien Project's "Midnight Sun". Not a bad track but too old too often heard about 1 Year ago. And some things I don't like to party in London: At 6 o'clock Party is over, 1 hour to get into the Location and some uncomfortable people. Anyway the atmosphere takes it all :-) Chris
