abasio
No! But I would like to. Is it good?
ukiro
Don't have much in the way of audio-triggered synaesthesia, but for example weekdays, numbers and certain words do trigger a lot (not just colours & shapes, but also texture, temperature, dry/wet and, most of all, emotion). When I was 4 and my grandmother was trying to teach me about the 7 days of the week, she had a calendar where sundays were red and the rest black, and I kept telling her all the colours were wrong. She got quite confused.
Ormion
It's impossible for me to listen to music and especially to Psy and not 'see' colors or shapes. Actually one of the things that Psy is the best is that is sooo colorful. For example right now I'm listening a Zion Linguist track. It's definitely a green track with some black lines and some dark orange spots! The previous I've listened was a Gappeq one: Pink with grey curtains and silver water! I love synaesthesia!!! abasio
So this isn't a Synaesthesia release? I thought it might be a DVD release

Goa Bill
Yea i met this dj guy at boom festival that had this "problem" since birth. He had track names in different colors so he could dj harmonicly. He also told me that years of using psychedelics "enhanced" his ability
RTP
I don't see colors, but I can have quite intense closed eye visuals - well, actually it's more than just "visuals", sometimes like a film ... like flying over landscapes or through space or through alien lands ... it's mostly about landscapes though, never about persons or other stuff ... sometimes it's even a cool film, kinda "music video" like - like for example flying over a city, then suddenly turning down and zooming out and seing everything from above, the roads, the houses, the skyscrapers and then suddenly it all transforms itself into a circuit board ... and such stuff. It can also be more deranged and even of a more synaesthetic character like coloured and stuff ... once I was lying there with open eyes and suddenly my whole field of vision got kinda drained in blue. It varies. Depends on music, mood and setting ... often I don't have anything at all too. It seems to work best sometimes when I have headaches though. Once I had this quite fucked up headache and I didn't want to take a pill against it, I put on some tiger balm on my forehead, lied down and listened to some Filteria tracks. I had the most synaesthetic experiences I ever had ... all full of these film like flights over landscapes, through space ... in a clarity that I never have experienced again in that way. Half an hour of that stuff and then I realized my headache was gone completely! Not all of my headaches can be treated like that though ... it's weird. abasio
Just got the point of this thread! Yes I have it, all the time in fact. Whenever I close my eyes I get quite intense visuals, colours, tunnels, flowers etc When I sit back & concentrate on music it heightens quite a lot!
