Shaft Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Tracks like: Vibrasphere - Newport (and to a lesser extent, Floating Free - excellent production) Jaia - Rouge Marine Ticon - The Analogue H Progressive that grabs you and wraps you up in thick layers of sound, driving basslines and etc etc etc. I overdosed a little last year when first discovering the style, but I'm slowly coming back to it. So have you guys/girls got any fantastic progressive I should hear about? Quote
Tatsu Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 The Flowjob album really fits that category for me. Also Reefer Decree - Point Of You. Quote
exotic Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 The Flowjob album really fits that category for me. Also Reefer Decree - Point Of You.Agreed. i'll add sun control species , oliver jones , phony orphants , etnoscope and perfect stranger. Quote
alleycat Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 some tracks on Cafu's album Wake Up would probably fit that description. also, some tracks on Iboga's VA-Nuance. Oh yeah, Open recs comp Slow Release. Particularly the Wombat track, which is Sun Control Species' other project. Try Tribal Vision's VA-Trash Art. Maybe check out VA- New Order on HOMmega. Quote
RTP Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 etnoscopeEtnoscope? They are more of a tribal madness to me than this "hugging progressive" ... but the sound enwraps you indeed, that is true. Quote
jivamukti Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Reefer Decree - Point of You As already mentioned by others. I can't seem to get enough of this album right now. Really really good. Dousk - DIY (or D.I.Y.?) Softer, atmospheric progressive. The whole album in one session is a bit too much for me though. Lunaspice - Reflexion Not many talk about his album. Very good mixture of atmospheric progressive & psy. FREq - Strange Attractors Nuff said. Quote
